Lloyds is at £3213 at the moment, I really, really try to get it down under £2000 when salary arrives. It's overambitious but we live frugal so hopefully it will be fine. Last working day of the week, off tomorrow and on Friday, I have plenty to do though. Going to cinema at the weekend, hopefully using Martin's voucher to watch Inception, if not than we use the Tesco clubcard-cinema tickets so won't spend any money. Went out for a leaving drink yesterday, it was good but now very tired.

To-do-list for the rest of the week:
    • call dr re referral to see specialist with knee
    • study and write assignment
    • clean flat
    • cook
    • plant bulb
    • file papers
    • shred papers
    • chase council re recycling bags
    • call sister
    • email pictures
    • re-list buggys on gumtree
    • re-list items on ebay
    • cancel gym membership

2lbs loss for me this week, extra happy with that. I will adjust signiture.

Went to hairdresser yesterday, paid for haircut and eyebrow threading £24, I think it's very reasonable.

Oh gosh, what a week, it's only Tuesday and I'm already dead tired.

Still can't see how much I can overpay this month, I made £500 overpayment yesterday and hoping I can make another £300ish. I'm not sure it's doable but hey, at least I try. I want Lloyds to be gone by April!!!

No babysittings booked for this month yet, hoping that something will come up soon though. No assignment due until the 21st so giving myself the weekend off studying. I try to do an hour every day though just to catch up on the reading.

Friend of mine is getting married and her hen do is in April, she wants us to justify £250 each which I can't, feel quite bad about it but I have other priorities.

Overpayment looking good, I might be able to spare £450 which is more than brilliant. That brings the loan under £2k!!! 2 more months and Lloyds will be gone!!! Quite happy with that.

No result on assignment yet, 2 submitted and I have another one to go by the end of this Month. I really need to study, being very lazy nowadays.

I am also focusing on the weight loss again, those muffin tops need to go before visiting OH's judgemental family. I have 7 weeks to get in shape, meaning that I need to lose 1 lb a week. As I can't go to the gym, I need to do some exercise at home and eat less-today had oatibix for breakfast and rice pudding for lunch and did 30 min of Davina workout. I like davina, she is not jumping all the time and I can replace movements when knee is hurting. I aim to do 5 workout a week. I will go for a gentle run tomorrow at lunch time-gentle meaning to find out whether knee is hurting when I run or not. If it does than I will just do the dvds, if not than I will try to run twice a week. Not very fast and for not very long.

I had to bake 24 slices of brownies as well for work, I managed not to eat any yet (I am strong!!). But will take home some for OH, he deserves a slice or two.

Waiting for babysittings to come in, really hope I will get one for tomorrow and for saturday, or just one. Every little helps! Also found on the street a cocoon for buggy, it's brand new and somebody just dumped it with recycling staff, I will put it on ebay, currently new ones are selling for about £50, if I get half of that than I will be happy.

    New week, new beginning.

I won £64 on lottery which is great news. Booked tickets to see my family in April, I can't wait actually, really miss them.
I stayed the same this week which is a miracle as I had lots of brownies the other night. Weight loss is back on track! Exercise at lunch time, Davina here I come.

Assignment is back, 85%on one and a possible fail on the other, today is the deadline for getting the results back.

Money wise we closed a good month in February but March will be different. We will have a credit card bill of £700 going out so overpayment won't be as much:(. It would be great closing Lloyds before we go to see OH's parents in april.

    I'm here!!

Sounds like you had a couple of weeks of really not feeling great :( but the weekin Greece sounds good AND very MSE :T

Excellent progress on the loan, it only seems like yesterday you were starting to overpay, doesn't time fly! I am jealous of your lotto win although I have won £6 ish for the past 3 weeks on the Euromillions, perhaps it is warming up for the big one? :D

85% is very good, have you hear about the other assignment yet?

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D

    Hi,
Welcome back, must come and visit you on your thread though it's been very quiet, hasn't it?

Ok, all the direct debits are out (well except mobile and water), I still have £170 on my account but need to book first aid course today which costs £105. It's a must, necessary for work but they don't pay for it:(. I need to finish Hungarian tax return as well for me and OH though I have to call them as OH hasn't received his through the post and also don't know how to do it as he is different nationality than I am? Not sure what's the regulation over there.

I ordered Martin's freebies from Thames water, hope they will come and we can save money on water!!! I mean we save only water as don't have meter but everything for planet Earth:).

Work will get much easier from tmrw, can't wait! OH is at work today, doing overtime on his day off.

Ok,better get going, to do list for today:
    • call Hungarian tax office
    • book first aid
    • find spa deal for hen do
    • order shoes
    • shop
    • finish tax return
    • ebay items

It's the end of a rubbish week though the weekend is not better. In a bad place emotionally, just can't get over things. Never mind.

I babysat last night, got £50 which is great as I have the NI bill going out at the end of this month, £190 is a lot. Adding the First Aid course to it, and my liability insurance is due very soon with travel insurance, just can't imagine what else needs to be paid. Council tax is due going out at the end of this month, plus need to buy spring shoes, aaaahhh, this debt will never go away. Just want to scream...

Oh well, life has to go on, I know I'm lucky and we're doing well but wouldn't it be nice being debt and worry free?...

The week was as bad as the last one, nothing has been done, nothing has improved. I feel quite low and arguing with OH over money doesn't help either. Not sure what to do. I was really hoping to pay off Lloyds this month but it's impossible, we have so much outings, it's just ridiculous.

As far as I can see, this month we will be able to make a £1000 overpayment on the loans, appr. £800 less than we do every month which is a lot of money. The good news is that I am booked for proxy parenting in April from Thurs to Mon which will give us some of the cash back.

My credit card was also compromised, it's all cancelled now and need to wait for the new ones. Good that i have enough cash to do the weekly shopping.

OH's salary came through so I made an overpayment of £750 on Lloyds, we're down to £1240 which is great. Once my salary arrives, this will be even less. Good news on money front, even though I have lots of outgoings this month, I am booked for proxy parenting on Thurs/Fri night, plus all Sat and Sun, Sun night. I am not sure how much I will get appr. but it's going to be over £300 which is unbelievable!!! I am very happy indeed.

I need to write my assignment today for OU, than order jumper from Asos, do weekly shopping and cook. Busy day and I am not doing right now what I am supposed to but hey, life is short:). I need to concentrate on what I am eating from tmrw and lose the last couple of pounds extra weight. We're off to see OH's family mid-April and they are very judgemental!

Good news also, I booked my flight ticket yesterday for October, my grandma's 90st birthday party worth the £50 it cost me. Let's hope things are picking up from now...
