Loan payments are out, my bank account is looking very sad.I have 21 ebay items going strong, 6 of them are doing very well, the rest not as much but every little helps, just hoping that I can make £100 this month, well, they finish tomorrow and Friday so we shall see.
This month we need to buy a new wardrobe (cheapest we found was £130-it has to be thin and with shelves), a new bike for OH, his frame cracked in the accident and it's now cracking even more, shop is willing to take it in for £150, so we need to add an extra £250 for a new one. We already bought bookshelves, they were only £30 but it's extra. Also bought train tickets to airport and need to get tickets for my parents to fly out and see us. So I think loan repayment will slow down from now on though I am still aiming of the £2000 mark every month. We shall see how it goes.
My cold became a flu, I have horrible sore throat, blocked nose and headache:(.0 -
Signiture updated, it includes finally all the interest. The Tesco's one is not a current settlement figure, it shows that if we not paying it off early than this is the amount we own. I trully hope that at the end of April we can pay off Lloyds and can concentrate on Tesco's and be debt free by the end of 2011.
Exciting that ebay items are finishing, so far the bidding is on around £76.
We ordered the wardrobe yesterday, that's £130 out unfortunately:(.0 -
When everything goes wrong...ebay items did ok, I passed the £100 mark but than came down with chest infection doubling with asthma attack. Got medication sorted, that's £14 out. We need to book tickets for September and buy tickets for my parents, I can see that February is not going to be my favourite month. I just trully hope that I will be able to get some extra cash by babysitting and a bit of ebaying. I have one babysitting booked tonight, don't feel like going but I really need money.
Wardrobe arrived today, OH just bought a bike (Jippieeee), so lots of tidying to do today.I took 2 bags of unwanted things to charity which would have sold on ebay for about 50p each (not worth it) and I guess by the time we fill the wardrobe we will have another 2 bags to go.0 -
Wardrobe is going back, it's faulty, the doors are falling off everytime we open them. Apparently there is a problem with the hinges, they are not made for this wardrobe therefore can't be tightened enough. Aaaahhh. We asked for refund and will try to find a different wardrobe tomorrow.
OH's bike is under budget so there is enough money to get new tyres and mudguard.
Next week's to do list:- sort out life insurance beneficaries
- start OU assignment
- sort out pension
- sort out will
- overpay credit card if any money left on account after rent is due
- check foreign bank account
- contact tenant re moving out date
- call cousin
- buy mirror for rented flat
- organise chat with bosses re update
- relist unsold ebay items and add more
- post ebay items

Btw this time last year I was just about to become debt free-I can't believe we own nearly 20k again! But once we pay this back we won't have any mortgage on family house and can start trying for a baby. I know trully this was the best decision we could have made in July but find it very frustrating having so much debt. Not going for a mortgage was a good idea at that time-we couldn't have got one which allows us to make such overpayments and pay it off so early-but having 2 personal loans on our shoulders is still so scary. I will be more relaxed once Lloyds finished and have only Tesco's left...
Our plans after paying off the two loans are:- trying to concieve
- book a holiday to America and see OH's long lost auntie and her family
- start tackling investment property mortgage (which is due to currency problems growing by the day and currently stands at around £50.000)
- refresh wardrobe
(after selling nearly everything on ebay, it will be well appreciated and deserved)
- see more often family (flight tickets are so expensive)
- no more babysittings:T
- no more overtime:T

Glorious Monday morning, woken up with an awful back ache. Listed another 13 items on ebay, 4 already has bidders. I sold 12 last week, I have appr. 5 more to list but wait till next weekend as I won't be able to post everything at the same time. I am dead tired and will have a busy day at work, in need of coffeine already.
Diet starting today, feel horrendously fat at the moment, I haven't even managed to get the scale out. I'm usually 9st 4lbs but I think I am closer to 9st 10 at the moment:(.It might not be too big for some but I am short and have chunky tights already:(. The aim is to go down finally to 9st by mid-April when we go to see my OH's family. The problem is that I am not able to do any exercise with my knee so will have to rely on sensible eating - I tell you, I am rubbish at it. But here we go, new, disciplined me, starting from today!0 -
Day 1 of diet went surprisingly well, had a yoghurt for breakfast, pitta bread and another yoghurt for lunch and spaghetti for dinner. I was not hungry at all, I think it's because of the antibiotics.
Bank balance is ok, have £79 in it though still have water and mobile phone bill going out. Paypal money hasn't reached my account yet, as soon as it arrives it will go towards credit card.
I really need to start writing my assignment but have no motivation whatsoever. Happy Tuesday everyone.0 -
£100 credited to my bank account, another £100 to my Npower account. I'm going to call them and ask them to reduce direct debit for next 6 months to £1 each as we have £130 credit on it. Also will switch to a different plan through quidco, that's £40 extra. Hopefully.
Diet is out of window, had kit kat chunky yest and maltesers today. Will try to be a good girl from now on but it's bloody hard:(. I'm so tired at work, just don't have any energy to be disciplined and good. My friend's wedding on 4th June, and I'm bridesmaid so will need all my energy to be in good form-it's a very expensive wedding in central London, their budget is £30k:eek:. She wants to go to Budapest for hen-do which I would be happy to so i can at least see my sister and parents but the tickets before June are very expensive already. I will suggest different things but don't want to spend too much on her hen do and wedding, especially we have so much debt. She knows this but thinks that she can have it all and we wouldn't mind paying up:o. Very wrong:o. At least my dress and shoes will be sorted as well as hair and make-up, she gets those for us:rotfl:.0 -
Oh, yep, 4 babysittings booked for February, getting there:)0
