    Right, last week's babysitting money went straight towards my Open University loan, so that was easy come easy go.

    We have a really bad month money wise this month, we overpaid Lloyds by so much that at the moment I have £30 sitting in my account while OH has £20- this would be good if water bill and 2 orange phone bills wouldn't go out before payday. Orange is appr £30 for both of us while water is £19.34:eek:. Really hope nothing will come up. Food will go on credit card as usual (we pay it back but collect airmiles for it), and Xmas presents are all sorted so no trouble with that either.

    The reason we found ourselves in this situation is that we booked plane tickets to see my parents, OH parents, and OH parents tickets to see us in August. We usually pay £40 each for these tickets but because of the tax rise, it came out as £65 each average. I know that it's still cheap as return tickets but am really cross as it means that we really can't afford to go home more than twice this year:(.

    On the good side, I have a babysitting booked for tmrw night,so that's an extra £40, plus next Saturday as well.

    I have an assignment to write this weekend, so will be at home and do that-not looking forward to it.

    Went back to the gym on Thurs again and knee is really not ready, it hurts today like hell but I know that exercise is the key to make it better so tmrw again...

    Earned £45 by babysitting last night, plus I finished part one of assignment-it feels like they paid me to write it:). Off to the gym now than write part 2 and hope to submit it by tonight. Feel a bit more energetic now that I can see the end, I have plenty to do next week before the Xmas rush! Good I sorted the presents already!

    Whoop, whoop, got £500 Xmas bonus from one of my bosses!!! I worked my butt of this year so I think it's well deserved but still very generous- she went to America for 3 weeks,that's why it came so early. Off to bank today and pay it towards loan, if it all goes well, I'll be under £8k before 2011, fingers cross. Have babysitting booked for Thurs and Sat night, that should bring an extra £65 as well, will cover Xmas food shopping.

    Assignment submitted,now rest for a couple of days...

    £3.69 left in bank account:eek::eek::eek:.
    Feel awful about it but OH needed £15 for Oyster Top Up and now we are both skint till Friday. I have a DD going out on Monday so really hoping that OH's salary will arrive before the weekend.

    Struggling with flu, OH texted me today that there has been something wrong with me since October, he is right but I can't seem to recover.

    1 day till OH gets paid, can't wait to have some money on my account. We haven't had a month like this for ages. I have money coming from ebay (around £30) and amazon (around £40) but it takes time to hit my account. Babysitting tonight and saturday night, that will cover our food shopping. Hopefully more things sell on ebay and amazon before Xmas!

    Saturday night babysitting was cancelled because of snow-never mind, it was good to be at home for a change. I have Amazon £50 coming to my account, will pay that and ebay money towards credit card, so at the end of the month I shouldn't need to pay any towards it. Bank account finally has a healthy balance with OH's salary in. Xmas is sorted, only need to buy 2 bottles of wine and Xmas food, than we're ready to celebrate.

    NYE babysitting booked, that's £80 for 5 hours! Very happy bunny. Just counted, I should be able to pay £1200 towards the loan this month (overpayment), plus OH will give some as well so altogether a success. Still need to go food shopping on Friday but that shouldn't cost us much. oH is sick with swine flu, he is at home all week, just hoping he will feel better soon. Amazon still hasn't arrived on my account but will send it towards CC at the end of the month.

    Whoop, whoop, another £500 Xmas bonus,that's a total of £1000. I'm making tmrw a £1000 overpayment, than will do the rest later. Signiture already adjusted but it means that this month we will be paying towards Lloyds a massive £2500!!!
