OH is back!!! Everything is back to normal. Started to put things on amazon/ebay, so far made 3 sales. I need to raise £200 extra this month, planning to do it by selling stuff and babysitting. Amazon sales so far £10, babysitting: £62. I have two more babysittings booked, let's hope that I will be just fine.
Xmas presents are all sorted, I just need to make chutney and jam-this is for this week: find a recipe and get all the ingredients.0 -
I haven't been for a while but I'm back now and must do some debt busting.
The loans are looking good but my credit card creept up to £600 this month which I always pay off fully but that would mean that instead of overpaying Lloyds by £900 this month, Iwould only able to put £700ish into it. So I have to make somehow up the difference though not sure that I would be able to.
I sold already 3 things on Amazon which only gives me appr. £15 but that's more than nothing.
I need to hit ebay, have plenty of clothes to sell, so today's to-do-list:- list ten things on ebay
- check bank accounts
- study, finish stage 2
- file papers
- sort out emails, answer them
- update flat spending

Back again. Doctor signed off last week with my knee as it really got worst so spent the last 5 days feeling sorry for myself and lying on the sofa, I can't get up on Thurs and Fri as my knee froze completely. It's better today, so I'm back at work, but no cycling for a while so needed to spend £20 on travelcard once again (last week as well).
I listed things on ebay but haven't done all, mainly because of knee but partly because of being so lazy. But I'm ahead with studying at least, I should be fine before going to Portugal next week. Because I haven't been able to do any exercising, my weight is really bad, I put on 2lbs which I have to lose by end of next week. I want to lose ideally 6lbs by Xmas but that might be hard without moving so I am really monitoring what I am eating (as of today).
Xmas presents are nearly sorted, just ordered the Mario game on amazon for OH, and I have to buy one book for a little girl aged 5. Plus make some home-made jams if I have time.
I have no idea how much money I will have this month to overpay the loan but won't stress myself, counting on a bit of a Xmas bonus-that might help. I am thinking about upgrading my work netbook, giving the one I have to my parents and get a new one for myself but I have separate money for this on foreign bank account so should be fine, haven't decided yet though, I need to really think about it. I think I might wait for sales...0 -
Oh no @ your knee! It sounds very painful
Have you managed to EBay anymore yet? I find it so long winded and tedious sometimes but I always feel better when I start getting bids. I missed your birthday, sorry hun, what a !!!!!! that you weren't well
Did you do the music magpie thing? I sent mine off weeks ago and I am still waiting for the cheque, they say it has been sent but it's not here yet, most annoying!
Very happily married on 10th April 2013

I haven't done Music Magpie, sold most of my dvds on amazon. Only £3 profit on each dvd which is more than nothing. I haven't managed to do ebaying, I have 3 at the moment going on very high value but no watchers so they might not sell.
I'm babysitting this saturday, an extra £40-will pay for this week and next week's travelcard:(. Shame on not cycling but I wouldn't be able to anyway, knee is in too much pain I'm afraid.
Moneywise, still not the best month, we just booked tickets to see my parents in June:eek:. Feel guilty for not going earlier but we just can't afford it, and we try to persuade my parents to come and see us meanwhile. We decided not to go on holiday next year, not till we pay back Lloyds anyhow, and that won't happen before the end of summer. We still need to book tickets for April to go and see my OH's parents and the cheapest so far are over £200.Not sure what is happening, we never paid more than £50 on each return ticket but even the June tickets cost us £130:(. Very cross but hey, what can we do?
We're off to Porto on Thurs, that will cost us a bit as well even though tickets and accomodations are booked. Just really hope I can manage to get under £8000 on Lloyds before next year.
I'm going to finish my Xmas shopping today, order the last remaining book and buy the wine I ment to and at least in December I won't need to pay for anything.0 -
Ok, I really really need to concentrate on making some extra cash. I did a babysitting on saturday, that's £36, also doing tonight one for £27. Salary is due at the end of this week but won't be able to see how much I can pay towards the loan until than as the credit card bill is quite high. Amazon £33 is hitting my bank account this week as well, but haven't done any ebay sales so that's not so good. Hoping that when we come back from porto than I will be able to concentrate on putting things on ebay.
Tutorial was great though I think I shouldn't go for the second course from January, it will be too much overlapping the two. I shall see, need to make my mind up quite soon. Also need to make my mind up about Marathon as knee is better but still not able to cycle or run.

Work is busiest ever as usual at Xmas time. Unfortunately my extra hours only pay for my travelcard I had to buy this month because of knee. On the good side, knee is getting better and today I cycled to work, saving on travelcard I suppose.
I have babysitting booked for Fri and Sat and must look into NYE babysitting, apparently it's £15 per hour. That would be great! I must start ebaying as well, might do some listings tmrw.

Tomorrow is loan overpayment day, above of the £650 for the two loans I will be able to overpay by £850 this month. Not great but hoping that I can make it up in December. OH will have some money for me towards the loan so that will help me too. Feel deflated though I think we're doing very well, it's just hard when you decide something and you can't have it.0

Signiture adjusted, we managed to pay £1350 towards loan as an extra, OH saved up £500 so that gave us the bonus. Well pleased though this means that December should be a normal month, not being able to save more than £1000. Which is fine I suppose, we are very lucky to be able to manage the 2 loans plus overpay them by as much as possible. I really aim to be Lloyds loan free by July which would mean that we paid off nearly £18000 in 11 months!!!0

I just got booked for tmrw night to do a babysitting, it's an overnight one meaning I'll be £90 better off. Adding tonight's £36-I did very well:).0
