Sorry to hear about your back :(, I am dreading winter because I tend to get bad back pain from tensing up in the cold and it is really quite nasty. I think you are spot on with your thoughts aout making a will, I keep putting it off because I think 'I am only 28, do I really need one' but actually, because of complicted circumstances with DD I probably should get one drawn up! We have a death in service package at work and I am always careful to make sure it is up to date in regards to who gets what share should I pass away whilst still employed.

Perhaps a will is something to put on the list for next year :)

Yeah, I know, I'm only 30 as well but because of the mortgages/loans we have I really need to do it, also because we are not married I don't want my OH to be out of money, we achieved what we achieved together and i really want him to have his share. So a piece of mind hopefully .I just ordered a law package from abroad about will as well as our investment properties are there and want to make sure that my law will be accepted there as well, not just here.

Oh, so early:eek:, glad it's only a short week.

Weekend was great but haven't done as much as I wanted to.
    Today's to do list:
    • scan property insurance form and email it
    • send life insurance form
    • send tax office paper
    • start writing the will
    • buy bread
    • order la redoute
    • do sums about repayment of loan
    • contact guys about kitchen
    • contact guys about garage key
    • email little brother about checking the bill
    • leave feedback on ebay
    • hola hoop
    • book spinning class
    • buy cheese
We spent a lot over the weekend, did tons of food shopping, won't use up half of it for another 3 months but had £10 off at tesco's if we spend a certain amount so it was all good, this weekend is the same, we need to spend only £30 to get £10 off so going to do the shopping there, afterwards back to Morrisons it's much cheaper.

We went to Brighton as well and went into the Reebok outlet shop, left £40 there but managed to buy 2 pair of shoes (one for OH, one for me), one jumper and 2 t-shirts, all very good value.

Diet wise I was quite good, need to keep up the good work. Hola hooping is fun, I can manage to do it now both direction and turn inside the hoop as well but this morning I found a couple of blue bruises:o on my hip which means that my hips are far too wide:D.

Ok, better get on with things, last week of stress free work than the madness will begin next Monday:o.

I was just about to say I think you did very well on your to-do list! Those Tesco vouchers are great, do you mean the ones that come with your receipt when you go shopping? I had a £7 off a £50 spend recently and it's a nice bonus :).

Sounds like you got some bargains at the Reebok outlet as well. I really need to get some winter boots soon, where I work is out in the stix and it gets so muddy and wet (actually maybe I would be better off with wellies!).

Thanks:). Getting on with my to-do list today, only the will left out. Rest is sorted, oh dear, I can't wait not to have a list like this!

OH got tesco vouchers as he hasn't been using his clubcard for about 6 months now so I guess Mr Tesco wants him to come back and spend money there -which he will till those vouchers last than back to Morrisons:D.

Reebok outlet is pretty crap most of the time but they had really nice clothes at the weekend, and the shoes were mega cheap.

Open University books arrived today, bit scary, I quite enjoyed having a break:D. Anyone saw the weathergirl this morning on GMTV? she looks amazing after those horrid pictures.

Right, got to go and check my bank balance than off to library.

Salary fully received, another £400 moved towards loan repayment. The idea is that I build up a £2000 emergency saving account by the end of September, than the rest will go towards loan repayment. OH will keep building his emergency saving account plus he will pay for holidays/ presents/etc so all my money will go towards bills and loan. I will make my first overpayment next week, looking forward to seeing the balance coming down nicely (though it will be interest first :( ).
I really, really want to pay back the Lloyds loan (£15k) by the end of next Summer.

Decided on holidays as well- next year we are going to see OH's parents for EAster than my parents at the end of May. Will have a proper holiday at the end of June (very MSE beach holiday), than we invite my parents for a couple of days over, than OH's parents will come to see us in August. In September we'll go to Austria and Hungary for a week, it should only cost us the plane tickets as we have friends and families in those countries, so no need to pay for food/accomodation. I will have enough airmiles to go to Paris as well on Eurostar, booking only 2 nights accomodation at the end of August. These are only short breaks but will give us to focus on. Unfortunately we still have Turkey and Tenerife booked for october and January, this was pre-house buying but these are all paid for so I'm not stressing about it anymore. I would have saved that money if I knew wer were buying this year!!
