Thank you. Haven't managed to talk to my brother yet as they are on honeymoon but when they're back I will get them to come and visit us:). I'm really glad, my brother really deserves to be happy and his wife is such a nice girl.

I tried to sort out our foreign account but it's such a mess I guess I will spend my whole lunch break on it. But it has to be done, can't be postponed.

I'm still doing PAD towards the loan (yes, you can overpay it), but my current account has nearly nothing in it so I will need to stop sooner or later. I'm working an extra hour today so that will go towards it and hoping to bag a babysitting for Friday night.

MG's challenge took up an hour of my life yesterday but I trully enjoyed it, and made a list of appr. 50 to achieve my 'must have' target. Bring it on, one month might not be realistic to achieve it but hey, if I am on the right track, than that's more than I would have done on my own.

Nothing much to report. Did my PAD, earned an extra £10 yesterday, all goes towards the loan. I have no energy whatsoever, not good as I have the OU starting soon. I love when the weather is cold but it arrived far too early this year.

An extra £10 for yesterday as well. I am booked for babysitting on the 2nd, 3rd, 4rd November, only for 1,5 hours per day but it will give me appr. £40 extra, not to mention the pleasure to see the kiddos I used to nanny for about 2 years ago. The family is lovely, the kids are awsome:).

Last day to collect the David Attenborough dvds, I have to make a half an hour trip through the park every day to get them:). They will provide us entertainment on cold, wintery nights.

Did body pump yesterday in gym so feeling extra energetic this morning plus it's friday, weekend is nearly here. No babysitting yet for tonight but i might get one later on.
  • Hi Kavics *waves*

You're doing really well with juggling everything you have going on in your life - nice one!

how do you find the motivation to go down the gym so much? At the beginning of the year I was so good at going to the gym but then I had to give it a break under doctors orders and now I struggle with my motivation - any tips?

Hi sparkleisshopping xx waves back xx,

I have no motivation whatsoever:D but OH kicks me out and there is nowhere else I can go in the evenings:D. Honestly, I think what really helps is the classes I do. I have been going to the same gym for over 3 years now and I know many people doing the same classes as I do. So even if i don't feel like going, OH always tells me to go and chat to Irene, Jasmine, Jo, Mary (I only talk to them in gym, we don't socialize together at all), he knows me very well that once there it's easy to start exercising. I am rubbish at working out by myself hence doing the classes.

I run the half marathon last year than I just could not face going to the gym for about 2 months and getting back on track was awful, it took me a good 6 months just to start enjoying it again. You'll be fine, just take it slowly, I find the more I go the more motivated I am.
  • I agree with the classes, I like going to classes too :) I usually do pilates, spin, body pump and legs, bums and tums. It must be really helpful having gym class friends too - I've been at my gym also for about 3 years and although I see the same faces at the classes they never seem to want to make friends :( I smile at them and say hi to no avail. I'd love to have a gym friend!

I think I'm just going to have to force myself to go - you're right, I do enjoy it when I'm there but it's so easy to make an excuse and not go. I'm currently only managing two sessions a week and I like to go four times so perhaps that can be my target for next week.

Oh, I'm addicted to spinning and body pump! I love both and I ache after both:). I do aerobics on Sat and Sun, they are good fun. Try saying hello and asking how are you, someone might answer back. The aerobics teacher on Sat always says that just say hi to the person next to you, be friendly, make friends, than at the end of the class she gives us a 'little' lesson about healty eating and positive attitude-it makes us talk about it in the changing room. Whereabout are you?

Your gym motivation is talk is making me want to dodge this section of the diary :rotfl:, only kidding! I am the worlds WORST person when it comes to motivation, I start ok but within a few weeks I've totally fallen off the wagon. The only thing I really enjoyed was swimming but I can't do it at the moment :(.

Excellent news on the extra babysitting hours, it's all adding up nicely :)

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D

Thanks:). I'm babysitting tonight as well, good that it's right after work so should be at home around 10.30-extra £30 that is:).

Oh, I'm good with gym but rubbish with my food, I swear I would be size 8 if I wouldn't love my food as much:). And I've very sweet teeth which doesn't help either...But from tmrw I'll be good, I promise:D.

    Morning,

Ah, another weekend passed. Work is waiting, boss is in today so won't be a good week:o.

Babysitting on Friday let me earn £35 which was very welcomed. Over the weekend we spent it all, mainly on food shopping, also went to the cinema (had a BOGOF voucher so was very MSE), it
was a nice, relaxing weekend though I feel shuttered today.

OU website is up and running, and the assignments are quite scary, I need to start doing work on those.

    I have tons to do:

    -print out OU material
    -post letters to tenants
    -post letter to edf
    -go to the gym
    -buy raisins, lemon
    -get book from library
    -order contact lenses
    -buy medicine
    -work on will
    -do Block 1 (OU)

I'm sure the list will get longer as the day goes on but for now it's long enough for me:).
