    we stay near by our parents my side are very close and dh is about 30miles away.
    its quite important to have family near by for us, we dont have kids yet, but trying, but when they come and then we need childcare its already been agreed my parents would take the kids. it is due to the shifts i work

    but i know friends who have no family near by and they get on just great
