Tesco clubcard vouchers worth double...

I was filling up with petrol this evening and noticed posters stating that with a £5 voucher you get double its worth, exclusions apply. Tesco did this for a few weeks last year. Does anybody know if this covers Tesco Direct?

Your right, the details are here.....

Its called the big exchange you can use them in 8 'departments' offers on until the 5th September!

  • starts tomorrow and is on for 5 weeks. You can double up vouchers in £5 denominations for the following departments:-

    *Pet food and accessories
    *Mobile phones
    *Opticians
    *Baby
    *Toys
    *Clothes
    *Plants and gardening
    *Home

Unfortunatley they got rid of the very popular wine and champagne option, but clothes is a good addition IMHO. I'm off to Redditch extra next week!

    Seems a bit contradictory:

Decide whether you want to use your rewards tokens, in store or online.

Not all departments/ products are available to buy online, check instore for full details

Take your Clubcard vouchers to the Clubcard desk at your local store*, where a customer service assistant will exchange them for rewards tokens.
Your rewards token will look like a till receipt. You can only exchange your vouchers in store, not online. Make sure you don't go straight to the checkout as your vouchers cannot be exchanged there.

is it just me or does this not make sense?
  • What can I use the Rewards tokens on?
They can be used to buy items in store or online in the following ranges: toys; clothing; flowers, plants and gardening; house, home and DIY; pet food and accessories; baby and toddler; phones and accessories; and opticians (in store only).
