good to see you posting Toots - I do worry when you are quiet!

I am indeed standing my ground. DS1 has spent more time 'upstairs till he calms down' than he has downstairs. I am prouder still that we have both managed not to shout at him or anything worse despite much agression, rudeness and general provacation.

TD on yet again, need to do the DW and I have a stupidly long list of stuff to do before we go away - head down and batter on.

I know, everyone will be fine...it will just feel very weird as I usually wander around a bit and it's an all age service! But it will be fine, it is only v loosely planned so I'll play it by ear a bit i think!

I finished my book a bit then fell asleep on the sofa for half an hour, despite a long sleep last night. Clearly I'm not getting enough rest! Easy dinner and a film tonight followed by another earlyish night for me.

ETA: Lovely to see toots back. take care honey xx

We are thank you :D although it's taking a bit of getting used to... I'm not used to having to take other people into account when running my life :o

Sunday around here is ment to be nice so going to pack car for car booting.
I really don't see how you can have anything left to get rid of... is your house empty yet??

Lovely to see you posting Toots. Hope you're home soon.

Had a major clearout of my parents' box room over the last few days. Lots of unwanted china, crockery, curtains, linen etc (and my grandmother's kitchen table) is going to be coming home with me for OH's flat, so he has some stuff to start off with... all the ancient electrical stuff has been binned (why my dad and my brother want to keep 10 year old laptops, video recorders, broadband routers, mobile phones etc is completely beyond me...) and lots of stuff my brother doesn't want but couldn't be bothered to deal with is packed up for the charity shop. One day we might actually remove enough stuff from my parents' house for them to be able to downsize :p

Back home tomorrow, and then work again on Monday :(, so I'll be back to thinking about flying. Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend, and those of you heading off on holiday have a lovely time.

This morning, I finished cross stitching my mum's birthday card and watched The Third Man (did you know you are in it , valli?!!!)
    where?

    hello all

didn't get back after HHC yesterday due to arrival of OH and - erm- disinclination to share all aspects of my life with him (when I refer to the thread it is just that - a thread I post on in a forum;))

Sister &BiLs 25th Party went well - some cousins came up from Essex, all family met OH - he wasn't scared - I was well terrified. He has been advised to 'look after me' which he promised to do, assured that exhusbands had major faults and none of it was my doing and generally had to listen to friends and family singing my praises:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:so he stayed over today and we've been out; (Haddon Hall - they sell the china in the giftshop there so I showed off that (a) I knew the design was called Haddon Hall and (b) I know someone who collects it (that would be our very own loved-up Greenbee) he's now gone home:( but I might well be hitting the M1/M18/A1 later in the week to go to the cinema/wetherspoons curry night:D and :money:Mr A. in Cas Vegas where the petrol is so cheap;)
Work again Monday to sort planning/classroom and PLEASE PLEASE nag me to make the Wishing Well for the wedding...

nope.. what would a 5 year old do with money? The tooth fairy brings a book or small gift.
