Tiddles has lost both her bottom front 2 and the top 2 are wobbly.. she starts year 1 in September!! She is the only one to have lost teeth in reception class.

DS3 is starting year 2 in September and he's the only one not to have lost a tooth.! Is Tiddles a youngster in the school year like Squeak? DS3's birthday is April. Losing teeth always remind me of when DS3 was born as DD1 was 6 and lost the 2 top front together just before he arrived. I was 12 days late and cried buckets because she would be gappy in the baby pictures.:o

I saw the dentist last week and she said there was a link between when first teeth appeared and when they lost baby teeth. None of mine had teeth before 11 months which is probably why I managed to breastfeed each of them for their first year. They get a bit lively after a year and are inclined to nip if you try to multitask.:rotfl:

Decluttered alot of dosh on Ebay:o.

DH has cooked meatballs for the ravaging beasts tonight respectively DS1 & DS2. I miss DD1 - only 5 days until she's back.

DS3 and DD2 have been helping me choose what to mix in my revamped Kenwood.

I have aquired 2 huge bags of plums from my mother. Any suggestions what to make with them would be welcome as there is only so much stewed fruit that my lot will eat.....

    Evening all

Toots lovely to see you posting xxxx
Penpen - have a lovely holiday
Rach - good luck with your service tomorrow

Have had a quiet day in today. I was suffering a bit from the same imposed illness that Hex had this morning. I bought a different type of wine and it's clearly one my system can't tolerate.

Did some writing this morning. My hairdresser came this afternoon and I'm all highlighted once more. Then I started going through this thesis I picked up to proof read yesterday. It's not too bad at all, only minor grammar corrections generally. If I do a good enough job, he'll recommend me to all his friends :)

But I'd better go and get the chicks in before they start really creating a fuss as it's getting dark and then find some food.

    Evening peeps

Lovely to see you posting Toots, and glad to hear you are feeling much better.

Only flying that has been done todya has been in our small front jungle. My goodness we have cleared somecarp from there. Everything was overgrown so DH and I have had a major overhaul of it. It still requires a lot of work but at least you can see the ground now :o

Well I better go and clear up tea things.

Happy holidays to those on their travel and see you all tomorrow maybe

Actually technically it's my parents who have it... but I intend to have it before they go gaga and start breaking it :p. I love Haddon Hall too... amazing place to visit - I can't remember where it was I stayed a few years ago, but we walked from the hotel to Chatsworth one day, and to Haddon Hall the next.

I copy and paste before previewing/posting, just in case, as it seems to happen rather a lot...

Packing is almost done. Dog is exhausted and will probably be pleased to see the back of me tomorrow... I'm going to take her for one last walk before I do my final pack and head off back home.

No, tiddles is November and the oldest in her class.. she had no teeth until about 10 months.. they reckon teeth can be delayed if you are regularly breastfeeding but the link between first teeth coming through and losing the first tooth is pretty much rubbish.. DS3 was 6 weeks old when he got his first 4 teeth.. bear in mind he was 9 weeks early!! Yet he was one of the last to lose teeth.. he in fact lost his first teeth at the same time as DD3 who is 2 years younger! He was breastfed the shortest period of time (3 months as he was ill) and she was fed the longest! (2.5 years)

I fed most of mine for well over a year too
