First tooth a pound, the rest 50p. ;)
The tooth fairy is tight around here.:rotfl:
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

I used to get 20p from the tooth fairy...one night my mum was working, I got a pound note (showing my age now). In the morning heard my mum saying 'what did you give her a pound note for' and dad saying 'i didn't have any change'.... :rotfl::rotfl:

On a flying note I've done a load of washing and it's on the airer, cleaned the bathroom and wm is full of towels and cloths, will probably leave it til tomorrow to wash as there's not much drying space left.

We went to Ikea and DH has been busy all aft moving things around, new desk is now up and new printer and pc sorted :)

I am taking a service tomorrow am so need to print some bits tonight, think I will have to sit down for the service as I can't stand for 10 mins never mind an hour!! It's my last one for a good few months though so I will have to manage. Must remember to get DH to get the small suitcase down as I need it as a prop...might leave it down and start my hospital bag afterwards!

not as tight as here. I asked DS1 what the tooth fairy brought, he said chocolate coins - so he gets 4 chocolate coins which he shares with DS2 :D.

I used to get 5p, which was enough to buy a packet of Polos.

Asking round at school £1 is common. I know one who got £10 for the first and £5 for each one since .

Very good HM lamb curry has made me feel much better. We are still working on the playroom. DH has fixed their desk and I am going through flinging merrily.

Tooth fairy discussion has me hooked. There is 6 years between DS2 and DS3. 6 years ago I was the same as Vanilla. DS3 hasn't lost any teeth yet - he's most put out about it as he's the only one in his class not to lose a tooth yet.

I have collected the Kenwood base I bought on eBay for £5. All my instruments fit so I'm a happy bunny. Freecycle just gave me a load of people after my attachments! So glad I persevered.

    Lovely to see Toots post.
Hope you get half an hours peace for your reading Vanilla

PHEW! what a day, I am shattered

Have not really been sleeping and have been having a catch up nap in the middle of the day which hasn't really helped IYSWIM so after taking DD to work for 8 I decided not to go back to bad and I have
cleared garage and done a tip run
    hoovered out 2 cars
    cut the grass
    done the edges
    hoed a border
    3x wm
    3x td
    hoovered LR & DR
tidied and put away stuff in LR & DR
    tidied kitchen
picked up laundry and made DD's bed (I know at 20 she should make it herself but she doesn't!!)

had a longgg soak in the bath

and now I am trying to fill the time before I fetch DD at 8 so I don't go to sleep...must sleep tonight, shattered zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last
