DD has now lost one of her back teeth and DS2 has just split his toenail right down the middle.
I have a feeling today is gonna be one of them days.

All clean clothes folded and put away, boys been made to re-tidy their room. Big mirror now back on wall, lunch is on.

Toots lovely to see you post, hope you feel better soon. We've all missed you. xxx
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    I have a stinking hangover :o

I have an hysterical 7yo son making himself sick rather than tidy up his stuff. It would be so much easier to give in and do it for him but I will NOT let him win. I will be so glad when they have their own rooms and the playroom is no longer full of toys.

    HHC at 1.30 anyone?

Don't make him tidy it up, then - stand over him and make him put everything into black bin bags. Then make him take it all outside and put it in the bin for the bin men to take it away.

If he doesn't want to tidy it up, he obviously doesn't want it that bad at all. so he has to throw it away and never have it again.

Extra bonus - you never have to tidy it up again either.

    Afternoon all,

Nice to see you Toots how are you feeling?

I'm glad your friend is ok LadyL.

    Hugs to Hex.

Just as i finished posting this morning OH turned up. I had to quickly chuck some clothes on to help. I've just come in for a quick break as it's pouring with rain. Most of the walls and ceiling have been taken off and we've had Dss on the roof, Ds1 on the ladder and me filling the bags. Then Dss went in to help Oh so Ds1 went on the roof and i've been up and down the ladder and up and down the garden. I'm really shattered now especially after yesterday, i'm hoping it doesn't take much longer. I'd better go and see if i'm needed.

Oh how lovely to see a post from you, toots. Glad you are feeling better.

Jojo - what a brilliant suggestion :rotfl:
vanilla - hugs and vibes for a better day
Jo - wow, you have been busy!

Got sewing machine booked in for service so what do I do? Get out a project that has been lying for months so I can get some of it done before the machine is collected.
That really is reacting to a deadline :o
(oh I do miss the 'confused' smilie)

Hex - hope the hangover passes, hair of the dog?

    Got the petrol
Got most of the picnic food

Need to pop out to town in a bit for a few more things but I'll wait until the current shower has passed.
