Ds1 and i have come back in. We're having some kind of flash flood.:eek: The gutter can't cope with so much rain and is spurting water everywhere. The bucket that was empty is now half full. There's no way i'm going up and down a ladder in this. The last time i saw so much rain was when OH and i were in town and the whole area in front of the shops flooded and we had to go out the back of the shop.

We've been invited out to friends for supper, in York, so as it will be on our way for our week away, we've decided to stay over with them and head off from there :j I've made cranberry orange brownies, will pick up some ice cream and a chilled bottle to take with us :j

Thanks for the hugs, wasn't looking for sympathy but I appreciate it! I have stood my ground and they have now done the job. I have suggested that they think about what they should get rid of, and perhaps not get so much out in future. It is usually DS2 who refuses, but today it was DS1. He'll be having a grow or something.

Dusty - no thanks - I am saving myself for our trip to France (must save space for wine!). I haven't got a headache just a very acid stomach. Ooh, a bit of cheese should help.

I slightly over ran on that HHC how did you get on Hex2?

I did S+S frontroom and kitchen cleaned the hob yet again, hoovered all downstairs loaded DW Put Wm on and decluttered 2 phonecalls.

Now just need to do some ironing ready for tomorrow so going to do a HHI if anyone wants to join me.

My mum was doing the legwork for a holiday let and that very thing happened.

All running about done. Been and got baby milk, stuff for tea and hubby's meds. I even went to the library and got a couple of books about hubby's conditions so i'll have a good nosey through them tonight.

Dusty it was a back baby tooth. She told me it was loose outside and by the time i got to the kitchen she was behind me with it in her hand. :rotfl:
Tooth fairy tonight then.

DW nearly finished and kids outside playing. I think i might nosey through my books now while it's all quiet.
