Morning All
My new-to-me 3 piece is coming today and my old settee is going so first job of the day is clearing the hall and the DR so DH and my dad can get through with it.
Joining in on the BF discussion - I fed DD until she was 1 - at the time I didn't know anyone else who was breastfeeding and anyone who had started had long finished. I then fed DS until he was 2.5/3. I trained as a BF counsellor while I was feeding DS but I haven't done any of that for years now.
Okay I'd better carry on
Have a good day all
Hugs

Oh Bravo! Juliejim.
Coming in on the end of bf discussion, DD1 had a cold and weaned herself at 11 months, meant to feed DD2 until 12 months but ended up going to 14 months.
Dw on, copped for doing the coffee at church so off I go in a minute.
eta greenbee is that why you've been so quiet? Busy acquiring a dog and an OH??
What breed is he, is he well-trained, how old is he?
And the dog...?Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
morning all
I have sorted out my bits for the service and am pretty much ready to go. Gonna go on the bus as my prop is a suitcase and it's actually easier to jump on the bus outside than walk for the car!
Better clean my teeth and go, don't want to be late. Hips are agony this morning, typical, so I'll definitely be sitting down!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Hya everyone,
I MUST get my house SORTED!!!
Took 2 bags of unwanted clothes to charity recycling - loads more to sort and turf out.
gratefulforhelp, the Indian landlady of a university house let said the way you get turmeric out of clothes, cloths, etc. is to hang them out in the sunshine. If the weather is fine I hang things out on the line, otherwise I use a southfacing window. I find it works for me:)
Good luck for the service rach
I breastfed mine for about a year.
Now need to pick and slice runner beans, sort dishwasher, sort wm and get stuff on line,
Happy days all0 -
I have aquired 2 huge bags of plums from my mother. Any suggestions what to make with them would be welcome as there is only so much stewed fruit that my lot will eat.....
This is like a very posh flapjack... probably not recommended by any dieting plan or company

Morning all.
Just catching up with Fred, as I didn't get chance yesterday, things being a tad fraught here. We had someone come to the door who was NOT expected and most DEFINITELY NOT welcome. I left Mr LW to get rid of him, and we absconded to the pub, as I was so upset.:(
So, I've read Fred, but forgotten 99% of what I've read.:(
Anyways.... Toots it's lovely to hear from you; I hope they let you out on parole soon.:D
Interesting reading the Tooth Fairy posts..... my teeth just used to get put in the bin.:o
Penny the Cavalier should be arriving about 14:00, so I must move a few things in the kitchen, to make a space for her bed.:)
I also need to declutter some calories on the Wii, but feel a bit sick at the moment - probably fallout from yesterday.:(
Not to worry; I'm sure I'll feel better once Penny gets here.
Ah, I can see a :eek:cobweb:eek: on the patio door that wasn't there yesterday. Off to find the duster-onna-stick......:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Morning all,
Hugs to Lamewolf.
Well sleeping with Ds2 was interesting. When i went to bed i had to take out 4 teddies then squeeze into a tiny space with hardly any covers. Ds2 was lying diagonally with his arms stretched out. I tried to move him over but he was like a dead weight. He eventually turned over and i stretched myself out to claim my space. Then in the middle of the night he ended up upside down which took all the covers off me. The good thing was he didn't wake up until gone 9am.:j My curtains are so thick they block out most of the light, i usually leave them open a bit or i find it really hard to wake up in the mornings if it's still dark.
OH's not coming over until this afternoon to do some more on Ds2's room so i've been making the most of it by having a very lazy morning so far. I do need to get showered and dressed now though or i'll get nothing done.
