    Kitchen is MUCH tidier - pots almost all washed and some already dried and put away - last few soaking and stuff rehomed as appropriate.

    I have done some serious mucking out today so I've been a good girl.

    Oh Piggers - what time were you planning on doing the new thread so I can time my dinner around it?

    Would about 9pm be OK? That way I can interact with my kids without having to nip off and check every few minutes :D

    Short bird~# yes a lot les to up pack, but took loads of money, with the same stuff plus a bit more from flinging.

    LW~~ glad to hear Penny is settling in well.

    I have the most bizzare picture in my mind of Soappie interreacting with her kids.................

    My face is now even pinker, I am not happy about it, they never forecasted for MK to be so hot today, if they had I would have taken my floppy hat..............

    Bol sauce is cooked, just got to do spagetti, but OH is STILL sleeping, at this rate he will get up and go straight back to work, I think I'll give him till 5.30pm and then wake him, last night tonight thank goodness, then he gets a week off to make up for it all.

    Wednesday ~ Bathroom and Study/Pc Area ALL DONE

    Had a lovely walk with mum and Im shattered now. Just decluttering a cuppa before I do a HHI.

    Hi all,

    I've been lurking this week and afraid I've not really been flying during the week. Need to give myself a kick up the backside to get things done in the week, but not got a lot of motivation on an evening. Still I've made a dint in things, well the kitchen, this weekend, would just be nice to have more free weekend time so please feel free to fling some mules my way between 8 and 10pm this week!


    Anyway my flying this week(end)...
    Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
    Sweep and mop the floors
    though this may need doing again now I've cooked
    Level Two
    Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
    Wipe cupboards, appliances and kickboards!
    Scrub out rubbish/recycling and compost bins .. we don't want bugs in them!
    Level Three
    Wipe over the window sills
    Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
    Clean oven and hob ...I did wipe the hob but will need redoing when cooled down, and the oven has a marrow in it so will have to wait!


    Extras
    • HHI - to do after dinner
    • Clean out the foody cupboards
    • Clean fridge

    Tuesday - Sitting Room and Hallway
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Open the windows and turn on some music!
    Wipe and water the plants
    Declutter the chairs, floor and fireplace
    [/STRIKE]Level Two
    Vacuum the floor now it is visible
    [STRIKE]Dust the mantel and put back only whaat is supposed to be there
    Straighten/tidy a bookcase[/STRIKE]
    Clean any electricals.. be careful!
    Level Three
    Vacuum under any furniture you can.. please don't injure yourselves!
    Wipe sofas and dusty places
    HHC in the hallway.. sort those coats and shoes and mess!! .. don't miss the huge bags of gumf brought home at the end of term!

    Extras
    1. Dust dados/coving/skirting etc
    2. Binbag dance... grab a bag fill it and fling it!
    3. Spend 15 minutes tackling a messy cupboard or drawer.
    4. Wipe the sofas
    Wednesday ~ Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    Level One
    Clean floors in these rooms
    Clean baths, toilets and sinks
    Level Two
    Clear any clutter from desk
    Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!! (baby wipes are fantastic for this!!)
    Wipe keyboard and mouse (these usually have more germs on than your toilet so important).. And your house phone.. they must be just as vile..
    Level Three
    Wipe down tiles in bathroom
    [STRIKE]
    Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required[/STRIKE]
    Clean the brushes/dust box/filters on the vacuum cleaner!!!! .. make sure they are completely dry before using it though.. I don’t want anyone electrocuted!
    Extras
    • Sort through those half empty bottles or ones with only a dribble left and decant into one bottle and recycle the rest!!
    • Wash your bathroom mats etc
    • Sort a wardrobe or part of, a drawer or set of drawers making sure it has what needs to be in it and any 'extras' are put where they should be
    • Spend 15 minutes shining mirrors and picture frames
    Thursday ~ master bedroom and landing
    Level One

    [STRIKE]Declutter floors
    Strip bedding, wash sheets and remake the bed.. BEFORE BEDTIME!!
    [/STRIKE]Level Two
    Vacuum floors
    [STRIKE]Tidy away floordrobe/chairdrobe and top of chest of drawersdrobe![/STRIKE]
    Sort through one cupboard of clothing
    Level Three
    [STRIKE]Sort out the airing cupboard or linen cupboard.. wha t can go? What do you need to keep?
    wash any curtains/nets that need it[/STRIKE]
    Sort through one box of junk
    Extras
    1. Do a small job you have been putting off forever
    2. check all the smoke alarms are working as they should!
    3. Sort out the junk from your favourite/most used handbag!.. Get rid of those receipts from 1982 from your purse! lol
    4. Fill a binbag for charity shop (or the bin if you prefer!)
    Friday ~ Childrens pits, spare or neglected rooms!
    Level One
    Strip, wash and replace bedding
    Declutter and vacuum the floor
    Level Two
    Sort through a cupboard.. any cupboard, could even be a kitchen one!
    Drag out and sort all the gibble from under the bed!
    Straighten the toy boxes and shelves
    Level Three
    Wash any soft furnishings that need it.. or the duvet!
    Dust and deweb
    Wipe sticky grotmarks from the walls, doors and paintwork
    Extras
    1. Binbag dance
    2. 15 minutes filing
    3. List 1 item to sell
    4. sort the shoes, coats and bags!
    So lots potentially to do still but not enough hours left to do all that, OH is in a grump so won't be getting any help there.

    Congrats to lav and pigpen on your new arrivals, hope you and yours are all well.
