gratefulforhelp, the Indian landlady of a university house let said the way you get turmeric out of clothes, cloths, etc. is to hang them out in the sunshine. If the weather is fine I hang things out on the line, otherwise I use a southfacing window. I find it works for me:)

Thanks, didn't think it was possible, will remember that next time I take me Balti to bed!!

    lamewolf hugs, honey.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

Just finished sorting out the toybox - it was full of little bits! I ended up with a pile on the floor which I told the kids to get a carrier bag and take upstairs what they wanted to keep and the rest is going. I've got a big bag for the CS and to carrier bags full of rubbish.

Dh has just phoned to say he's on his way with the three piece so we might get some dinner at some point.

Joining in on the BF discussion - I fed DD until she was 1 - at the time I didn't know anyone else who was breastfeeding and anyone who had started had long finished. I then fed DS until he was 2.5/3. I trained as a BF counsellor while I was feeding DS but I haven't done any of that for years now.

I trained as a BF counsellor while feeding DD3 and DD4.. they were tandem fed for best part of a year.. that was interesting!! I'm not very good as I think it is all about giving people information so they can make an informed choice.. whereas the NCT wanted me to ram it down peoples throats and make them feel inferior and guilty.. I'm all for universal happiness.. so anyway.. they didn't like me.. :o:o:o

Titch is still nameless.. though we at least have a list of possibilities now..

For reference.. if we gave her the initials FTW what would it make you think?...

She is feeding like a bear.. I swear she is hollow!!!! She has also mastered saving a poo until midway through a change.. heehee.. daddy job!!! My mother gave her her first bath last night so she was clean for 10 minutes!

Tesco list almost written.. OH and DD1 were going but it looks like a tomorrow job now.
Pig in the SC for dinner.
TD on.. 3 loads of wet stuff to go in.. or be hung out

    OH done the DW

Chimps commanded to clean out bunnies! they honk!

I wouldn't think anything about the initials!

Sounds like life in your house is getting back to normal :T

well I managed the service this morning, sat down for a big chunk of it, and someone gave me a lift home. Been out for lunch with DH (spending a fortune on starbucks and nero at the moment but figure we may as well make the most of it!) and now got my feet up, though we did take a load of cardboard to the recycling across the road and I put 2 binbag loads out. Bin and lid soaking in bleach solution. DH is busy sorting the new computer and wiping the old one, I am going to push the dyson around the hallway and fold up yesterday's dry washing in a bit. Oh, and must do a bump pic later...might even share it with you ladies!
