Could I join again please? Only bought mouthwashes so far this month. Stash getting very low now though so might have to replace some things later. Getting to the end of huge tub of body butter, but have got others in stock.0

I would also like to join! I need motivation to resist buying, that and I dont think I can take anymore of my hubbys cheeky comments about the lack of space in the bathroom cabinet - he has half a shelf and I have the rest! lol I reckon I have enough stuff to last me to the end of the year.....and beyond.0

I had a message from her - she got a bit daunted by jumping back in,cos she'd missed so much - also had some personal things to deal with (which are why she went off) but she did say that she would be back....midnightstar wrote: »had to buy new deodorant today as other was not working. went for mitchum, hope its good
I bought Mitchum last time round, smells a bit odd,and its great for stopping me sweating under my arms - seem to be sweating loads everywhere else though!!!!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -

Managed to UU another Alberto Balsam tea trea shampoo. WIBA? Don't need to yet, just got another out of the stash. Am on the final splutterings of a couple of things. Still a way off needing to buy anything though.
Look forward to hearing from Tara, hope all's well with her anyway.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
Hiya girlies!
Haven't been posting much lately but still with you in spirit!!!
Not much of a stash left here really after 18 months of use-ups now; my main concern is keeping DD on the straight and narrow. ATM I'm followig behind her using up her leftovers. Cheap for me, but I wish she could learn to finish one thing before she starts another:mad: for her own sake.
Dove deodorants (BOGOF offer with voucher from a couple of months ago are coming to an end.) WIBA nah! not really a sweaty-betty, so whatever's available in £shop will do!)
Am currently testing some samples of Clarins products, exfoliator, masque and primer. Like them all! Will probably buy as need to replenish stocks, but my local House of Fraser Clarins offers a facial for £15, which will be deducted from purchases, so will prob take advantage of that!
PS the scratchy brown soap (think it deserves a photo really) has worn down considerably. Wouldn't quite describe it as a sliver yet, but could definitely be used up by end of August with a concerted effort. (About 8 months then, soap is defo more economical than gel if you're seriously counting pennies!)
love to all!

Can I join too please?
I have been following this thread since July but this is my first post. I decided to do an inventory of my toiletries and it was nineteen pages (eek! how did that happen?) long. Then to make myself feel really sick I did a trawl of my bank & cc statements and discovered that I had spent £442 on this junk since January, just so that it could languish in my cupboards instead of my bank account.
I love this thread and have been trying to do it for the last month but think it would be so much nicer to have the support of everyone else to help keep me on the sraight and narrow (and out of Boots!)0 -
think I am having a character change:eek::eek::eek:
have been sorting out clothes/household stuff etc (with a lot of encouragement from DH) and decided not to go to town today to sales as I know I don't need anything(when has that ever stopped me before you ask?????)
confessed on clothes challenge to two pairs of sandals(pressie for having a filling)....would have been 3 but as I told the assistant I already have 3 pairs of black sandals so dont need a 4th:rotfl:.........BUT was shocked when I put the new red pair away to see 2 other pairs of red sandals never worn OMG.....ok I am digressing as this is the toiletry challenge:rotfl:
Am now determined to be extra good(think to self you don't get out enough to wear all your clothes/shoes/make up)and want to save up for holiday of a lifetime,a tallship cruise to the Caribbean next Feb(to celebrate 30th anniversary that we could not do cos of DS3's op this year)
so if I tell you I have bought anything new you have my permission to tell me off bigtime:)
maybe if i stick to this I will have more money in than out for a change:rotfl:0
