I've not bought anything since my Body Shop splurge, but have been forced to buy some more Very Expensive shampoo.
A salon sized bottle of the shampoo has set me back nearly £36, so I am evidently quite unamused, but there is little I can do as I can't find anything else that makes my hair not split near the roots!:eek:Please call me 'Pickle'
No More Buying Books: ???
No More Buying DVDs: ???
NMB Toiletries ??? and I've gone back for my Masters at the University of Use Ups!
Proud to be dealing with her debts 1198~

Just reporting a give away rather than a UU - I donated a BS Strawbery body butter to my mum on the weekend. I can't stand the smell of strawberry flavour and she likes anything, was an unopened gift so didn't actually cost me anything.
A Johnsons shower gel is probably on its last squirt today too - WIBA - nice and moisturising, clean smell and it was half price at Mr S, so probably if it was on offer again0 -
did anyone ever find out what happened to Tara?0

Sofababe - you have already used up the mini body butter freebie from June?
I for one am seriously impressed - this is a great example of how quickly you should be able to need to use toiletries after buying them. :T I also have said body butter -its about 5 down on the list, tho 2 of them will go any day now.
Unless you chose it over others in a stack  , and you are no :A after all. LOL.
I got it really cos I was down to the scrapings of my last tub, and only had Baby Lotion to use:( plus I have really dry legs so they got a good slathering every night, and it was only a little tub:D0 -
There seems to be more buying than using up going on here!
Somebody asked what our weaknesses are. For me it's expensive hair conditioner and anti-ageing creams and serums. I also like gifts with purchase and Boots clearance.
Is everybody just counting products. I count things like hairdresser and contact lenses too which is making it impossible to reduce my beauty spend to zero, even if I have been aiming for zero every month!
I am buying much less than before though. And is it really bad that I've been wondering when the Boots Christmas catalogue will arrive?:oTotal debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -

Also bought some bio oil I've been considering this as a purchase for ages. Anyone like it on here?0 -
hi everyone, i am still up for the challenge this month. I am planning on a nil spend for august. there are several things that if i make an effort can be used up this month. am keen to clear some more clutter.
for info the boots xmas catalogue is usually out beginning of Oct (know this as its always near my birthday)
I've also been using bio oil as a night treatment. found a bottle left from when OH had an op a few years ago and had it for his scar. it does seem to be a good treatment as i have had 2 compliments on my skin recently.trying hard to be debt free by the end of 20100 -
Saw the back of a purple Radox bubblebath last night - nothing special, did the job I suppose?
The last one from the stash is now out.0 -
back for Aug
loving this challange!
Have had a couple of UU over the last few days....
UU: Fat hair Hairspray - WIBA? YES YES YES it is fantastic on my limp fine hair, just difficult to find!
UU: BS face powder - WIBA? Yes but not until my stash has reduced!
UU: ID face powder - WIBA? nope its rubbish and am glad it is gone!
Couple of things on their way out.
for those using bio oil - do any of you have oily skin? I have heard great things about it but with oily spot prone skin I run at the word oil!!New surname New start!
