    Hiya
    I'm in again :D

Was doing a good impression of Mrs Mopp today and started to clean and sort out/declutter the upstaires, then started to get palpitations looking at what is left of my stash. Started to worry that I was getting low on a few things and thinking that I will have to make a list of things I was running low on.....only 6 body butters and 7 shower gels left. What am I going to do if I couldnt get to the shops:eek:

I've not bought any toiletries since DECEMBER 10th and starting the challenge has truly help'd (except the need for cotton wool pads and anti-whiff as I'd run out)

I dont need any.......it was the thought of my stash being so relatively small sent me into a panic......

A few minutes of deep breaths and walking away to eat chocolate stopped any panic rush to the shops. Just in case you understand.

It might just be the New Year sales before I really have to venture back to Debs or wherever......cant wait. the sales girles used to know me by name:) hope they will be as free with their samples. think I used to get so many as they realised I was always a sucker for the latest/improved formula

My weakness at the moment is body lotions/butters - I keep being drawn to them in the toiletry aisles and if there are testers I just have to try them. I go through different phases though. I was terrible with shampoos at one stage... and then I moved on to shower gels. I also love foot products - my stockpile of them got riduculous at one point but I've managed to tame myself recently. GWPs are also a big temptation, especially if they include a nice makeup bag - the little miniatures that they often include are so cute.

I plan at some point (god knows when though!!) to do a new stash count - I know for a fact that there is no bath oil/bubbles/anthing like that left - but im using my old shower gels for that....

and im down to one shampoo/conditioner combi, though i also have dregs that are in a washbag....

still got a zillion shower gels and soaps though !!

I'm in again for August :D I'm doing fairly well. I've not bought anything for a long time other than toothpaste which I think I bought in April. DH has bought himself some Euthymol too which is eeeeeuuuuuurgh!
I've still got lots to use up though!
Had a bath after work this evening and whilst I was washing my hair, I was trying to remember whether I had bought my tonnes of shampoo and conditioner last August or the year before. I really can't remember but I have a horrible feeling that it was 2008. Now (while I was on the loo) decided that as a family, there is no way we are grubby enough to have had a mix of £20+ of shampoo and conditioner at 4 for £3 (Tesco voucher) for more than a year. UNTIL...... It then occured to me that actually we would have had shampoo and conditioner in our stash in shed loads already. I also remeber leaving a huge bottle of tresemme conditioner in our holiday house in France because we had so much at home. And that wasn't last year!

I've been really rubbish with using face cream and make up for ages now. Need to pull my finger out and get using my lovely stuff again. Actually to be honest, I've been shying off the moisturiser too as I'm sooooooo fed up of baby oil- (shhh!). Will try to do my best then this month. Cheerio chaps!

This morning I have finished using up a small tube of body scrub (plenty more "in stock") and a Simple deodrant (I bought one in July in readiness to replace this one).

When I was packing for our hotel break, the OH said "it doesn't matter if you forget something, we can always pop into a Boots".
