    Hi Baibelle!

To be honest, being a student it one of the times it's good to be a hoarder! :D Just keep an eye of your 'stock' levels, and then when you are getting near the end, refill on special offers for the cheapest way to do it.

Well done on the present box. That's a great idea. :)

Best of luck with studenthood. I hope you have a great time. :)

    hi everyone
not posted for a while but still keeping up with the challenge. Have used up cowshed shower gel freebie WIBA - no very disappointing like molton brown, will never pay the full price. now using a johnsons one which cost a pound and is better for the fragrance lasting. Also uu clinique blotting papers - WIBA these again yes they are a bit pricey but they do absorb all the shine and make my powder compact last longer. Went to buy some more in boots and the bonus time offer was on sooo tempted but looked at the gift and realised i either already had the products or they were things i would not like so i walked on by...... unfortunately it was to the clearance counter :owhere i picked up a sanctuary face mask for 50p, l'oreal everyday facial tanner £1 and boots mineral make-up £4, still better than spending £30 at the clinque counter to get the free gift.
trying hard to be debt free by the end of 2010
  • One small UU: a 40 ml Spa Naturals Body Balm from a gift set received at Xmas. Should use up a toothpaste tomorrow as well.

    Have a good day folks!

baibella - we all have massive stashes! It will surprise you how much it will save you by just using up! I also have a drawer with stuff for presents - makes things so much easier!

    Couple of UU fro me

UU: Toni and Guy daily shampoo - WIBA? doubt it, was a nice shampoo and all but nothing special for the price.
UU: Dove rich moisture body - WIBA? nope, smells great lasts ages but too rich for my skin - TBH I'm glad its gone - seems like it was going on and on for ages!

Moving house in 6weeks so really need to concentrate on UU, think I am goin to tackle a few of the smaller bits and sachets first - less to pack and move! Once I have moved I think I will do a new list of my stash!
    New surname New start!

Hey baibella :D Like Minni said, we all have massive stashes so try not to feel too bad. Good luck with the budgeting too, it is hard at first but you'll get used to it in no time!

No UUs for me today. but I finally did my list last night. Decided to price all the items up and it turns out, even though I can't remember phone numbers or even the freeview channel numbers after 5, I can remember the price of everything I bought! Just had to look up the prices of presents, which felt quite mean but I wanted a full figure. So all my toiletries (including perfumes) total £378.13  I wouldn't feel so guilty if I bought high end products but I just dont. Going to do the same with my makeup tonight, which is already giving me a tummy ache! :(

Hope everyone has a fab Monday, and fingers crossed for some more UUs :D

    another cold grey day here:(
uu some Occitan lemon verbena perfume WIBA yes if I was rich as its a big bottle and so expensive but a lovely summery smell.

am trialing some oils that are suppossed to remove age spots for BB....what a load of rubbish(can't remember the name of the stuff but am guessing it is expensive, made not a scrap of difference to my skin:(

do like the Kimia facial system tho but at £70 it is very expensive though I think it will last a few months.

had a big sort out of books, all read once and been on amazonor green met for ages and not sold:( so they are off to the CS soon

(fed up as sold a book on GM but could not find it anywhere so had to cancel)...sorry to digress again from toiletries:rotfl:

    have a good week ladies

Two UUs for me this week:-

A small pot of S&G Flake Away WIBA? In travel size yes. I do much prefer the S&G Spa Sugar Scrub though and have one last huge pot of this left in my stockpile. I think I have a travel sized tube of LE scrub in my stash which I'll take away to Egypt with me in October otherwise I will repurchase Flake Away to take with me.

Alternatively - you could refill your empty travel size pot of Flake Away with some from your huge pot! :money:

Total £4151.44 | £2900.30 of £7051.74 paid off since diary started October 2024.

What is the concensus if you wear a new perfume for the first time and you're not sure of the smell. Do you leave it a few days and hope you get used to it or ebay it/palm it off to someone else.

Don't feel too bad Cinny, if I remember rightly when I counted my items up it came to just over £1,000.00. It wouldn't be so bad but most of my stuff is Avon and not the more expensive brands
