  • UU big tub of Body Shop pomegranate body butter. It's lasted for ages and probably wouldn't have used it up except for this challenge as I wasn't keen on the smell. No toiletries bought so far this month.

I know it's a bit late, but can I join in?! :D Been trying to work my way through my toiletries for months now, I could do with a little bit of a push! I think I have the common problem of half using something, or seeing something on offer and buying lots!

Only cheat is I do need to buy hair dye once a month, but I've gone from having super thick shoulder length hair ( = 3 boxes of dye ) to a copy cat Frankie Sandford cut (= 1 box!)

i sorted through my boxes, and have released into the bathroom a small bottle of herbal essences shampoo, a half empty foot soak, 5 year old + face moisturiser (to be used on feet) and my SSS dry oil spray. I'm aiming to soak my feet over the weekend, and my hair doesn't partic like the two bottles of shampoo i'm currently using so i'll alternate the HE in.

    Got two UU today:

FCUK Polished Bath Syrup: WIBA? Maybe. Bubbled up nicely and the scent completely fills the bathroom, but I'm not a bubble bath person. I love the scent though, and thankfully have the body spray so I won't go without it :D

Lush Aqua Mirabilis: WIBA? Completely, if I were rich! The block costs £5 and lasts for 4 good scrubbings. It leaves my skin feeling so smooth and moisturized, it just 'melts' so quickly! My Mum treated me to this with You Snap The Whip, so I've still got a bit of Lush to look forward too :D

Still got my big list to do, but decided that's a task for tomorrow afternoon!

Finished off my perfume this morning, didn't last as long as I thought it would so that's kind of good. Only another 45 more to go :o

A UU - Toni and Guy volumising shampoo. Bought this ages ago and really didn't like it, plus the pump action was hard to use with wet hands so it got abandoned. I lie slightly when I say I used it up, I upended it into a Boots Essentials volumising shampoo that was half full, however I then swapped the cap on the T&G stuff and turned it upside down and still managed to get another 5 washes out of it. Don't hate it as much as I remember, perhaps it's cause I have pregnancy hair now so it's behaving a bit better! ;)

I have a card to collect a parcel from the PO, hoping it's the Clinique set, not that I need it! Also applied for the Herbal Essences sample over on the freebies board.

Don't think there have been any more UUs - oh yeah, a smallish bottle of DKNY Be Delicious perfume - WIBA? Yes although I don't need to as MiL bought me some for my birthday! I'm not opening it until I've finished two bottles of other perfumes though - a Green Tea one and a Sanctuary one. Speaking of the Green Tea one, I had a bottle at work as well but it seems to have vanished :(

45 - crikey! I had 22 at one point years ago and I banned anyone from buying it me as a present until I had used them all up. There was 1 I didn't like, so I gave it away. I've now kept on top of it so that I have 5 bottles (2 for good wear, 2 for everyday wear, 1 I just bought in the sale and am using for everyday wear).

    Good luck getting through them!

Used up a limited ed. No 7 peach lipgloss duo from a couple of years ago - it was lovely. Wish I'd stockpiled it! And finished a Neutrogena conditioner, will buy again. Bought another InStyle today, for the alternate colour of the gift - really like this product.

A few UUs to report -
Sainsburys coconut shampoo and conditioner - WIBA - if skint yes - it does the job is nothing superspecial but is very cheap.
Dove shampoo and conditioner (the white one) - WIBA - its OK, if on offer, but the bottle never seems to last very long, not sure why?

Only bought 1 thing all month - Macleans whitening toothpaste pump for a £1 in the poundshop.

On to the Tresemme coloured hair S&C now........
  • Just a few UU's...

Bellecare Skin Plus Regenerative Night Creame Q10 - WIBA? Was not bad but a bit heavy and sticky for my liking, and I prefer the smell and texture of my usual Aldi Siana Night Cream more.

Lidls Iseree Hand Cream -WIBA? Yes, impressed with this. I need a heavier hand cream and this is very moisturising but absorbs right away leaving hands lovely and smooth, seems to perform better than some more pricey brands I've tried.

L'Oreal Elvive Royal Jelly S/C - WIBA? If it was on offer, lovely smell if nothing else though I've replaced it with the Tesco's own coconut shampoo and conditioner and don't notice any difference.
No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!
