    thanks Maman xx

On phone so quick message for Miss P re the holiday. Its Pontins, I paid last year in dribs and drabs for it via paypoint, once I've got my confirmation ill let you know whether they are still doing it this year, its really handy, like buying TV stamps :rotfl: I used to buy stuff in the shop and if I had a quid or two change I'd tell them to bung it on the Pontins payment!

If you book soon you can't access next years bookings properly unless you type Pontins 2011 into google and make sure you use the code CC11 and then you can get upto 50 percent off plus £150 of Pontins pounds which is basically vouchers that can be used like cash in the bar, shops and for the paid for activities like the PGL stuff for both kids and adults like absailing, archery etc.

I agree with the kids can be right what-nots. I was pretty mean to my Mum when I was younger and I reckon that my when my kids are vile it's her giving me a little poke from beyond and reminding me that what goes about comes about - we were always great friends when I grew up luckily.
Miss P, being a step parent is a bit of a thankless task and you will never get it completely right - don't beat yourself up about it and try not to get too upset, it's not worth your emotional energy.

Big hugs to you Jo, I can sympathise - big bells here tonight but I have no (drinkable) booze in house and all the shops are now shut, so it will have to pass.

I don't get the ignore thing at all I'm afraid Maman, should I do something?

And Cazza, bravo on getting a job. If you're thinking you need to go back to AA you're probably right - I'm thinking you found it helpful before so take all the help youcan get to see you through this difficult time.

Got to go and get something for dinner for DH and keep myself busy and quieten those bells!
    Trying to keep in budget.

Right, off out to celebrate my name day in a restaurant, this will be AF ;o))))
  • Thanks all for the kind words. Know I'm too sensitive but I do feel sometimes I try so hard with the kids, only to get kicked (metaphorically) in return. Guess thats part and parcel of being part of a step-family. Made a promise to myself to be a bit more laid back.:(:o

Thanks for the info Jo - gonna look shortly at that.

    Miss P
    xx
