Families ... who'd 'av 'em
My two eldest sons have done the same sort of thing. They have changed their names by deed poll to my ex wifes new married name .... at 18 and 21 ! Just becuase I didn't have any money to give them and treat them
My father was devastated too.
FAMILIES ..... in an "Eastenders" accent
Hope things soon calm down Miss P
Best Wishes

Kids can be horrible!!!
I know that mine will say and do some very hurtful things at some stage, but I'll forgive them for that very reason. They are kids. They can be self centred and don't know the hurt they can cause. They will get through that, just as you will.
phew - got my 'serious post for the year' in, at leastNeigh, neigh, and thrice neigh

Right, must get on - working from home today, such luxury, now I'm working my notice!!!
Have a good day everybody

For anyone who can read this, Miss P and jo are not to be ignored whatever they say!!
I think you care too much Miss P but that's not a bad thing. You did it all with the best of intentions. What worries me most is the idea that a 6 year old might have/need the facility to go on Facebook. Whatever you do, don't let it come between you and OH. To know that you and OH were rowing because of them might give satisfaction. They need to learn that the world does not just revolve around them.0 -
Jo
Are you getting some professional help with stopping the boozing?
Big Hugs,
Sim xx0 -
Just caught up on here. Phew!
Hope you've all had a good day.
I am amazed that a lot of you on here seem to drink quite a bit at home of an evening, and yet still work / bring up your children etc.
How on earth do you do that?
I couldn't look after just myself when I was off on my benders!
Seriously, I'm gobsmacked as to how you all seem to be living your lives while still drinking.
I can't see any way of doing that. All or nothing I suppose.
We're all different.
I do worry about some people on here who mention drinking in the evening, and then driving to and from work the next day.
Please be careful!
It was gutting to lose my license, and I'd hate it to happen to anyone else.
Take it easy all,
Sim xx
PS - Cazza - Sorry to hear you're going through it. A huge hug for you. Congrats on getting your part time job! xx0 -
