Make my own pasta
Work for someone I despise
Iron bedding, undies or teatowels
Worry about the opinions of people I don't know, particularly when I am dancing
Eat bad food
Drink bad wine
Miss out on time with my family and friends
Worry about the size of my backside
A few years ago my Dad passed away, and my mum and I had an epiphany about life being too short. I came up with a huge list like this..... she was a bit more succinct.
'If I want it, can afford it and it's not illegal or immoral, then f**k it, I'm having it.' she said.
Can't really argue...... :rotfl:
I like your post, made me laugh!:rotfl: must pass on what your mum said to my mum:DDo what you love :happyhear0 -

Life is to short to worry about dust behind the washing machine.
Enjoy doing whatever your doing.
As for ironing, I like doing it as well, I usually watch TV or listern to the radio and somtimes I have a glass of wine as well0 -
Life's too short to wash snotty handkerchiefs. Why can't my husband use paper ones like the rest of us.0

Darn socks.
Although I do sew the holes up!
I don't have a problem with ironing...had to do a lot of it in the Corps at school and I think the habit just stuck....I do it while listening to the radio or watching trash tellie about houses I can't afford, etc...'Never keep up with Joneses.
