Sorry guys but ironing is the one chore I actually like doing. The clothes look so neat and flat when I'm done:o (and you can watch Telly while doing it)

Glad I'm not the only one who quite likes it!:D

I do buy ready made Yorkshire Puddings.

Me too, had forgotten about them. I did try once but the were AWFUL. That was in my oven at the old house though and we have gas here (still not too sure if I like it or not?!?) so might give it another go:confused:

I don't mind ironing either, but not big things like sheets & duvet covers. I'm quite happy with a pile of clothes or pillowcases and something watchable on TV. Saturdays are good too, for the radio (R4 - Money Box 12.00 noon, then half hour comedy, then Any Questions, then Any Answers - not that I ever have 2.5 hours ironing at one session  ).
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

Life is too short to iron the bedsheet (I recently figured this out - by the time the sheets on the bed, the creases have been pulled out). Other than that, I don't mind ironing

When I'm rich though, I think I'll hire someone to launder my sheets and change my bed every single day because I love getting into a fresh bed.

Life is also too short to make your own curry sauce (unless of course you are Madhur Jeffrey). I did try once and my curry finished up tasting like aniseed , so now I just buy the jars.

I also use Oxo cubes. Ok, so I've got a long way to go before I'm OS :)

  • My best friend bought FROZEN gravy in Morrison's a few weeks back. I noticed when we were at the checkout, and was almost tempted to pretend I wasn't with her :)

  • Ok theres a few:

Stock cubes and gravy granuals - have actually found out that ASDA smartprice stock cubes have less salt in than the OXO and more expensive ones!
Ironing - i love doing it but can never be bothered - i just hand out on the line and when i need a shirt i iron it!
Frozen chips - on the odd occasions we have some they are aunt bessies
Hoover under the beds more than once a year - i leave it to the cat to dust under there that also applies to things that never get moved or seen underneath!
Worry about the state of my house when friends come round - its always clean enough just not always the tidiest, they know where the kitchen is, to help themselves and that they can stay as long as they want (the record so far is a friend who came for 1 night and ended up staying for 7!)
