Life's too short to:
iron - if it needs ironing, I don't buy it. DH does his own shirts unless he's running very late and has to work the night before he needs it.
I do admit to using Bisto veggie gravy granules as they're great for thickening sauces up, and I couldn't live without stock cubes! TBH I don't see what the problem is- there are so many really good ones around these days.0 -
wax/shave/chemically remove/nuke my hairy legs & armpits (the fur keeps me warm in winter and DH wouldn't notice even if I dyed my body hair green anyway, typical bloke hehehe)
must admit i'm not a weekly shaver, although i did shave sunday night as we were going away to butlins they next day now i've found i smell worse not better!!! OH doesn't seem to mind either. TMI i know.
i also buy oven chips maybe a bag every few months if that and i do buy puff pastry but did have a stab at hm shortcrust which came out ok.Other women want a boob job. Honey the only silicone i'm interested in is on a 12 cup muffin tray, preferably shaped like little hearts0 -

Life is too short for........stressing about things you cannot change (i.e. other peoples attitudes)....you can all ignore that if you wish......I only wrote it for my benefit:D I'm trying to convince myself to care less! I am sooooooo annoyed that is not in my nature;)
I agree about the ironing.........I've turned into my mother...most of my clothes are  drip dry :eek:0 -
Discount_diva wrote:Hi, I not only think that life is too short to iron, I just think it's TOTALLY unnecessary. I'm quite evangelical about telling people that they only THINK they need to iron. Just try not doing it!
I only iron if my clothes really need it (or I can't find anything that doesn't need ironing!).....OH on the other hand...........he never irons..........and quite frankly.........the state he goes to work in sometimes is embarrassing (only for me obviously.....c'os he does not care a jot!)0 -

Peem wrote:Life is too short to make own my pasta. I love it but I can't work out how to stop it from drying in lumpy birds nests before I've even finished rolling it out. So bought stuff it is.QUOTE]
Oh I quite agree........what a kerfuffle when you can just buy it...normal/wholemeal/coloured/flavoured.....my home made pasta tasted bloody crap!...and we only did that because we came across one of those manual pasta maker type things.........keeping that clean took more time than anything else!!0 -
Lifes too short to stay in an unhappy marriage, even if you do end up broke afterwards.
Life is also too short to worry about what other people are saying about you.

I must iron my sheets and pillowcases and duvet covers as I love the luxury of them being ironed - I do my ironing of clothes that need it and fold and put away - no need to iron again.Saving in my terramundi pot £2, £1 and 50p just for me! :j0

I have decided life is too short to...
Make my own pasta
Work for someone I despise
Iron bedding, undies or teatowels
Worry about the opinions of people I don't know, particularly when I am dancing
Eat bad food
Drink bad wine
Miss out on time with my family and friends
Worry about the size of my backside
A few years ago my Dad passed away, and my mum and I had an epiphany about life being too short. I came up with a huge list like this..... she was a bit more succinct.
'If I want it, can afford it and it's not illegal or immoral, then f**k it, I'm having it.' she said.
Can't really argue...... :rotfl:Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
