Hmmm, just got an email from them telling me which days that they wouldn't be delivering over Christmas, and that my regular orders on those days would be cancelled. Good job they told me, otherwise I would have assumed that they'd just be delivering the full amount a bit early (as has happened in previous years).Stompa0

I never got my free jam
I used my milkman before I signed up to milkandmore, and never had a problem. He used to knock every friday night for his cash and I could query anything that was missing, or change my order for the following week etc. with him.
If you're happy with his delivery times it may be worth contacting him to see if he still operates on his own independently of milkandmore. Ours does, his customers are mostly pensioners who want the personal service.
His delivery times don't suit me - he comes mid-morning and I don't want milk on the doorstep for 6 or 7 hours.Jojo_the_Tightfisted wrote: »So far, the free jam wasn't delivered. Then the wrong butter. Then the eggs never turned up last week with no mention of them at all. Today, I get a note saying he'll drop the fizzy water I ordered for today in on Friday. All in 3 weeks.
I don't want these things a week or a fortnight later after arguing with someone from a call centre. I want the things delivered when I ordered them, as I am I paying the higher prices to save me from going to the shops. At this rate, I'll have to order things when I don't need them, just to be sure it doesn't matter when they don't turn up! Or more likely, just stop ordering anything but free stuff.

If anyone missed their email:Hello,
In line with the national VAT increase from 17.5% to 20% on 4th of January we will be adjusting the prices of some of our products.
How will I be invoiced in January 2011?
Due to the increase we will be creating two invoices in January. The first will be on January 4th and will include purchases on all deliveries up to and including January 3rd at the current VAT rate.
The second invoice will be created on January 20th and will include purchases on all deliveries from January 4th up until January 20th at the new rate of VAT.
Payment for both invoices will be collected on or shortly after the 23rd of January.
Should you have any questions, please call customer services on 0845 606 3606, who will be able to help you.
We thank you for your valued custom.
Kind regards,
Your milk&more team

Oh well, at least milk is exempt from VAT!
Maybe exempt from VAT, but not VAM&MT (Value Added Milk & More Tax)Thought for the day: each generation of mankind tends to hug the illusion of having reached the culmination of human achievement. Yet, as we scoff at our groping ancestors, so our descendants will surely scoff at us.

New offer :
Try 1% Fat milk with your cereal, it has all the taste of semi-skimmed milk but with 35% less total fat and saturated fat. We challenge you to taste the difference with a FREE sample. To claim, simply add 1 pint of 1% fat milk to your next order and use the promotional code ONEMILK.
Not sure if it's for everyone......but hey, worth a try!:money::money::money::money:
I love to save money0 -
Just tried it, and it's a signup promotion only. Got the message "you've already used a signup promotion". So if you used the Telegraph £10 one, you're out of luck.
I have tried the 1% milk before and it's very good - couldn't really notice much difference between it and semi.

I tried the 1% fat and it tasted more like water then milk. Not good lol.
