hi can someone explain this to me? can you just order your daily milk and odd bits n bobs then settle your milk bill online too?
if so I guess its safer than the milkie collecting lots of money
sezzie24 is correct, but yes, its all online via bank card. No more paying the milkman (unless you haven't switched to online payment).
I don't think its because of safety, but because technology is getting better and they feel they need to keep up. It also allows you to change your order at any time.Thought for the day: each generation of mankind tends to hug the illusion of having reached the culmination of human achievement. Have just checked my invoice online & items that I took off my last order before delivery have been added to my invoice. They are showing as 'delivered'!! The same thing happened to my friend too. He amended his order & was charged for the cancelled items. I've just contacted them via their online feedback form.
The items didn't show up under 'My Confirmed Orders' on the right-hand side of the screen before delivery, but magically appeared on my invoice after the order had been delivered.0 -

Hmmm... I made late changes to my order before and only got invoiced for my final order but the milkman delivered my final order and the things I removed from my order as well.Thought for the day: each generation of mankind tends to hug the illusion of having reached the culmination of human achievement. Save £2.50 (existing & new customers). Code: SNOWBALL. Just tried it & it's deducted £2.50 :j
Thanks for this - I ordered yesterday for delivery today and like others I used it with the free stocking offer they emailed me - choccy, butter, sugar & kitchen towels (all items we'd managed to run out of & forget to get during the weekly shop) for £2.93 and no need to take the car out to the supermarket - Thanks !"You've got to cut your cloth to suit your wassname" Terry (my Dad), 1944-present0 -
Dont know about you, but our milkman always manages to deliver, regardless of the weather, and the fact that the local council do not treat either our road or paths.Growing old disgracefully!0

So far, the free jam wasn't delivered. Then the wrong butter. Then the eggs never turned up last week with no mention of them at all. Today, I get a note saying he'll drop the fizzy water I ordered for today in on Friday. All in 3 weeks.
I don't want these things a week or a fortnight later after arguing with someone from a call centre. I want the things delivered when I ordered them, as I am I paying the higher prices to save me from going to the shops. At this rate, I'll have to order things when I don't need them, just to be sure it doesn't matter when they don't turn up! Or more likely, just stop ordering anything but free stuff.

I think it is the system at fault.
Before Unigate joined Milk&More I paid the milkman, who delivered pretty reliably and he left a note if something wasn't available.
Now if I mention the problems that happen he just shakes his head!
He can only deliver what he is told to and if the system has failed then he can't help that.
I think he has problems with the system himself and obviously other customers complain too!
As a previous person said the milkman delivers and in the worst of conditions sometimes. So lets make sure we put the blame where it belongs.

Don't care who is to blame. I just want the things I order to turn up. If I can't rely on there being a complete order on my doorstep in the morning, I have to go shopping, which makes paying for the delivery completely pointless.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0
