Just wondering if they will try to get out of paying if you order something other than milk ?

The safe option here is to use a prepaid card loaded with just £1 so you can register it but they cannot charge you £10 if they fail to give you the promised discount

nice find but I've wanted to use this code / similar codes before but they don't deliver near me, despite 2 depots being in liverpool for milk & more. Strange.

Ugh I so wouldn't bother either. All I had was problems with them. I think the basic idea is open to abuse - some guy just leaving bags of shopping by your door, not very secure. They wouldnt ring my door bell to let me know they were there no matter how much I asked, deliveries not happening when they say they will, parts of delivery going missing (apparently they delivered a box of biscuits I ordered like 3 times or something, eventually gave up and they werent exactly cheap. Either the delivery guy or a neighbour must have liked the look of them). Certainly wouldnt use them again.
