New £10 discount with milk and more

Signing into my existing account today noticed on the home page an offer for NEW customers to receive £10 off their invoice if setting up a credit facility ie debit/credit card to pay the monthly invoice. This for online only customers.

  • Just ordered Cadbury Chocolate Heroes Tin and Activia Pouring Yoghurt Strawberry. £10.58 in total. Not bad only paying 58p.
Thought for the day: each generation of mankind tends to hug the illusion of having reached the culmination of human achievement. Yet, as we scoff at our groping ancestors, so our descendants will surely scoff at us.

I decided to take advantage of this last night - although we had most of the groceries we wanted, I ordered two loaves of bread, two bags of potatoes and some carrots, which came to just over a fiver. Then I ordered the Milk&More green Coolbag, because that will be very handy for us and is included in the £10 free offer.

I ordered at 3.45pm yesterday and the products were all there on my doorstep this morning... that was annoying as I'd asked for them to be put in the porch rather than out where anyone could just take them, but other than that the delivery was fine.

Don't think I will be using them very often at all... but can't complain at £10 free shopping.

It wouldn't let me do it at first either, but it was because I wasn't logged in - you have to create your account, tell them the card details or direct debit details and then add everything to your cart and then add the code.

I don't know why it wouldn't let you do it if you already told it your card details though. Try again and then if it still doesn't work perhaps you could give them a call if there's a customer service number?

  • The code wouldn't work for me even though I've never ordered from the site before, so I sent in a comment using the form on the left hand-side of the homepage and they phoned me up yesterday to tell me they've credited my account with £10. :)
