Oooo Poles I used to have that colour, its scrummy. Can I ask though do you ever get the dye on the windowsill, up the walls, on the floor, all over the towels, on the shower head, on the hairdryer handle. etc etc. I gave up dying my hair because I was so clumsy with it. Once I went to the hairdresser and he asked who did my colour I sensed a BECAUSE so I lied and said a friend did it and he laughed and said they ha:eek:d missed a big chunk at the back  So far so good - I can see the colour even though my hair is still damp. I do make quite a mess but I remove everything that's moveable from the bathroom and baby wipes will remove stains from anything I haven't been able to move (heaven knows what they do to babies bottoms!) I used to miss great big chunks at the back - it's so hard when you have to do it yourself - but I had about 6 inches cut off last year and it's now just past my shoulders so is much more manageable (and only takes 1 packet instead of 2 very MSE)

You have a much more exciting life than me, poledancing, plumbers calling for meringues, running in lovely countryside. come on you need to start keeping a What made me smile today diary to help you appreciate what excitement there is in your life. Excitement isnt always the best way to enjoy life. That's good advice Cheri, I will try to remember that - generally I am content just feel that my diary isn't the greatest pageturner IYSWIM!

Well done on all the cleaning. Ironing any bedding by any chance :rotfl::rotfl: He he, beds changed this morning ;)

    Catch you later Anthea.Aaaaarrrrggghhhhh!!! :o

Just put a bowl in the oven that DD painted this afternoon. I MUST remember to take it out after 30 mins.

Erm without sounding too cheeky, should you not have waited til tomorrow to change the bedding or would that be too obvious. (ok I am running as fast as I can now)

That is the best bit. I chased my OH for several years before giving up. 25 years later it took a good few months of chasing before anything happened and we look back now and laugh at how silly we both were.

I hope that you enjoy yourself and that the meringues turn out well.
( I have heard it all now! Better than do you want to seem my etchings though :p)

    Hi Polesalot

Hope your enjoying yourself today and the date is going well:)

I dyed my hair last week. I'm naturally auburn and do love my colour but unfortunately more and more of these strange silver/grey bits are appearing. I bought a dye that looked similar to own colour but once I had it on I didn't like it. I tried to wash it out but ended up two toned for the best part of this week :D

Your diary is great, I would love to try pole dancing but would seriously do myself an injury as have no coordination.

Poles, what does the TADA on your list stand for? How was the man?!

Well Poles, I take it that you are having a lovely day as you have been quiet. Hope the meringues are going down well and that you lost the nerves!

Top tip if you dye your hair and don't like the colour - wash with Fairy Liquid! It will tone it down a lot quicker than washing with normal shampoo. Funny how the colours we hate never wash out but the ones we love disappear so quickly :(

If you can find some pole classes near you I urge you to give it a try. My teacher does 'taster session' for a fiver so you can see what you're letting yourself in for before you commit a large amount of money. It's really growing in popularity. I don't really have any coordination either but it doesn't seem to matter.

I have pinched this from Cherisong (who in turn I think pinched it from someone else ;)). It's a list of all the things you have managed to achieve during the day. It's better than having a 'To Do List' that you look at at the end of the day and find you haven't achieved hardly anything :)
