As for the broken 'stuff' you could be me. Two years ago everything broke, like dominos. And the worrying sending messages to the universe that that's what you want, it does make sense doesn't it.

Yes definitely! Maybe it was all due to be replaced anyway? At least most of the stuff is now new so should last for a while.....

No maintenance received today :mad: it will be a very frugal weekend. Still child benefit is due to go in on Tuesday so not long to wait.

Found out today that my marvellous plumber who sorted out my shower/boiler/leak has gone missing! Such a nuisance. He was a bit of a jack-the-lad but he did sort out everything that needed sorting out. Apparently he owes money to the person who recommended him to me. Thank goodness it's not someone that I recommended him to!!

Back to the grindstone.....

Just a PAD of 90p today.

Didn't go for run today as I washed my sports bra last night and forgot to bring it with me to work today, never mind, hope it stays dry tomorrow and Friday.

Since getting in I have cleaned bathroom, washed towels, cooked and eaten dinner, cleared up, got breakfast stuff ready, hung out towels, tidied up living room and watered baskets.....and now just put DD to bed.

I need to fix the towel holder in the bathroom, yet another thing in this house that the previous owner bodged, it has always been half hanging off but now it looks like it will come off completely and I really don't want the sound of metal crashing onto porcelain tiles scaring the life out of me in the middle of the night :eek:

Need to do my bikini line in a bit, it doesn't hurt to keep on top of these things, besides things could be looking up on the man front . Watch this space.......

Thanks for that Bob, I had never heard of them but looks like there's one about 15 miles away! (really must get out more....:o)
