I got another week's worth of maintenance today :j. I have given up trying to work out how the CSA works :wall:. I won't question it all the time it's going in - the important thing is it's going in
I did the 'How Tight Are You?' quiz from Martin's email and I am
58% tight and damn proud of itSpends so far today £28.47 in Ada's which consists of my special cards, some body lotion and a CD for my Dad and cocktail sausages for work on Friday - we have a buffet the day before xmas and everyone brings something in :rudolf:It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Ooooh well done you - 44% here...I'm slacking:rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0

I'm even more tight than Martin
I was scanning the ground in Ada's the other week for any discarded receipts. I'm not even ashamed to admit that either
Spends of £7.14 this evening - cough mixture and eyedrops for DD - she's got what i had a couple of weeks ago. That will be fun getting them in her _pale_It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
I've done the L'Occitane free lotion thing. You decorate a tree on their website and they send you a voucher for a lotion worth £8.50. Details in the money tips email or go to the christmas tab at the top off this page
Didn't win the lottery (again)
Off to my pit now.....It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Dare I write down my New Year's Resolutions ???????
- Keep good track of finances (goes without saying)
- Open a bank account for DD
- Save for holiday (started already)
- Start present stash (started today)
- Get back into pole classes (booked already)
- Keep PADding the blasted barclaycard
- Sort out low self-esteem
Apart from the low self-esteem which ironically is actually high self-esteem when I'm single
I will have a sleep on it and see if I can come up with stuff that's a bit more demanding. I need some challenges
A ginger wine and a box of matchmakers should help the thought process..
Do you know what? I could have written these...with the exception of the pole dancing:rotfl:
I've been meaning to sort bank accounts for the girls - at the moment I put money of theirs in an online savings account of mine. I have my Next account and Amazon cc that need paying off in the new year, having used them recently:o
My pressie stash is a bit low...I had tons and tons of Body Shop stuff for a while, so can't buy people that as most of them got some. I like to have gift sets/perfume etc stashed away for girls friends as they usually announse that they need a pressie with no notice for me;)
The self esteem bit - been trying to improve that for years, some of it's getting better the older I get. Maybe I should accept that I'm not confident and never will be;)
Nearly the end of the working week for you - I'm enjoying my lie ins...should go and get dressed now:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Just thought of another:-
I will replace all the lightbulbs that have blown. I must get out more. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

This isn't actually a resolution but maybe it should be . It's just quite difficult with a child and I'm actually quite content to stay in but I think that's a good thingIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
I got a text at 8am from WLM ????
Saying sorry he hasn't been in touch but he hasn't really known what to say (if there is anything to say anyway) and that he hopes we're well and he thinks about us often and wishing us a lovely xmas.
The cynic in me thinks that he has just said all those things to make himself feel better (like all the nice things he said when he picked up his stuff). Does he think I am crying into my pillow every night? I waited a while to reply (I think it's impolite not to) said thank you we are fine and I am very OK so he doesn't have to worry about that any more and wished him a lovely xmas too.
It was nice to get the text though. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
My matalan order has just arrived. I only ordered on Tuesday afternoon and it was free delivery too. They emailed yesterday and sent a text this morning to say it was on its way. What fantastic service. I've never ordered from them before but definitely will again.
The gift bags are really good quality. I wish I'd ordered more now. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
My final present has been delivered so I will wrap that up tonight then I'm done.
Spends today was just £38.99 on petrol so will shift some money over from the petrol account to cover it.
Just had a lovely ginger bubble bath and scrubbed with HM sugar scrub and did the OCM on my face. Feel all lovely and smooth now
Final episode of Without You just about to start.....It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0
