Polesalot's Climb to Debt Freedom

Yes I am subscribed to Memorygirl's thread, thing is I find it hard to keep up with all the busy diaries. If I don't log on for a couple of days I find it really hard to find the time to catch up.
I think the reason I am spending so much is because I am off. As it was the first month for the envelope system I didn't really have much put by for days out. It's not like I haven't got the money it is just I have had to shuffle loads around from other areas. Back to work tomorrow, there is £5 in my purse and I doubt i will spend much.
I have just popped up to Sainsbury's because I needed washing liquid and softener. I know I have used Aldi before and although there is nothing wrong with their stuff it just doesn't leave the clothes as sweet smelling as when I use Comfort. I know lots of people don't like their clothes smelling of fc but I like the way the house smells when I have the washing drying in the kitchen!
Anyway, it probably wasn't a very good idea because I bought:-
T-shirt - £10 but it is blue, long line with stud detail round the neckline. It looks great on and let's face it I did need another weekend top. I can wear this on Friday to Muse.
Razors - £2.49 I have been using the same razor for about 6 months  Thing is those Venus replacement blades are so expensive it's cheaper to buy a new razor. I bought disposable Venus razors (3) and they will last me ages because the only thing I shave is my armpits.
Hair remover - £2.82 for bikini line
Body Scrub - £1.99 essential if you use an epilator on your legs like me. This was half price too.
Non bio washing gel - £2.99 thought I would give their own brand a try. My friend thinks it's good.
Soda crystals laundry boost - £2.03 this is supposed to soften the water as well as shift satubborn stains. Cheaper than buying Vanish and Calgon.
Comfort - £1.79 - I love the smell of this.
Natural yogurt - 39p to go in my chicken biryani that i will have for my dinner tomorrow night.
So £24.50 spent, not good but my wardrobe is complete now and all the other stuff I had run out of so would have to have bought at some point.
Just gone through DD's wardrobe and found all the clothes that i couldn't get stains out when I used the other washing liquid. Just need to train her not to eat like a 2 year old
Might pop on to iTunes in a bit and sort out some new music and put together loads of great songs for when I start running again later this week.
Time for coffe and a brioche and a listen to Popmaster!
Have a nice day everyoneIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

Thanks. I love just sniffing all the fabric conditioners in the supermarket. It can take me ages to decide on which one. Sad....It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

Hi Mags
Thanks I am fine just been really busy or really tired! Also fallen off the wagon a bit spends wise, nothing too bad, just waiting for other monies to go into my account and then I will be solvent again!
Went to Muse on Friday, the whole day was fantastic. Spent whole day with washinglineman (really must give him a better name lol) and we got on fab, talked and laughed the whole time. Very tired this weekend.
Went to use a hotel's spa yesterday with my dd, my friend and her dd - we had a voucher so no spends involved. It really did make a difference to using the local pool. The facilities were excellent, lovely changing rooms, uncrowded and spent 2 hours there. I need to look out some more vouchers because I really enjoyed it.It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Just realised the child benefit goes in tomorrow, I thought it was next week so I will be back in the black again (in my little book
as well as my bank account) so all is good on Planet Pole again

Nice to 'see' you back in your diary;) Hope you enjoyed your time off work:p
The spa day sounds lovely - I'd love to do that with my 2, it'd be a lovely treat!
I spent a bit at the weekend too (in Next) but luckily I only like one top so the rest is going bag, along with a bag from Accessorize I couldn't resist a couple of weeks ago:o I just fancied buying something...but now looking forward to the money back in the bank...I am daft.
WLM sounds lovely....lucky you! (Washinglineman has now been abbreviated:T)I really need to sort out a new signature!0
