Ugh have just paid out the holiday club fees for dd. I officially have less than no money
Still haven't listed iPhone but now I actually have to do it.
Food shop came to £29.53 but still a few bits left to get. Babysitting tomorrow night for my sister so hopefully a cheap weekend. Bike ride on Sunday (weather permitting).
Right, must list that phone now....It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Phone now listed and has 11 watchers already. I hope this pays off...it has to
Listed a load more stuff from before that never sold. God I've missed fleabay - how could I have stayed away so long??? It's just that extra frisson of hope that extra money might be coming in soon....:D
Am desperately trying to get all our washing done by tomorrow morning. This blasted weather means everything is taking ages to dry - can't hang it out and as the heating isn't on takes at least 2 days to dry indoors...grrr...hate when things like this upset my routine.
Must get off to bed soon...I have a load of song pop requests to see to. I am hopelessly addicted to it (plus I am beating most people who challenge me).

I used to iron clothes dry when they reached a certain level of dryness, very easy with cotton shirts and T shirts and also works wonders with jeans..there i have confessed now :-)
Hope you are well . Bob xBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Ah yes I did this the other day with jeans. Good tip.

Ah it's the same here Poles
Been washing / drying since 7am. It's so long since I used my dryer it smells dusty. I will have to iron jeans dry though - slight issue , can't find the iron :rotfl:
Have a good weekendx

I have a blinking migraine
my own fault as I slept in till the hugely late time of 8am yesterday  I know that's not late at all but it does seem to be one of my triggers. I have been babysitting my nephew so dd and I have stayed at my sisters. She rocked in at nearly midnight and despite assuring me she wasn't going to throw up she did. I just don't do sick soi laid in bed with my fingers in my ears
. Head still bad but it's gone down to my neck now so as soon as I get home I will rub some v0ltarol on it - it seems to help.
Popped out yesterday to get a few bits in Ms and ended up spending nearly £30! I did get my friend a bottle of prosecco for her 40th to go with the Lola Rose bracelet I ordered over a week ago and still hasn't arrived. I'm v cross as its her birthday today.
Also got myself a tagine. It was reduced from £10 to £7.
I started a bit of DIY - that isn't a euphemism Z I was actually doing some painting
Was very happy that Wiggins now has the yellow jersey in the tour but annoyed that all the changes I made to my fantasy team yesterday were after the deadline - I had 2nd,3rd,4th,7th and 8th so got nothing for them grrrr.
Watchers on iPhone down to 3 but have got a bid on a handbag and still 4 watchers on it. Hoping the iPhone activity will start to hot up over the next few hours.
Probably won't do bike ride as the rain here has barely let up since midnight. Need to bake a loaf of bread and have a stack of ironing too.
I also want to do a bit more painting - just tarting up scuff marks and all the paint is leftovers in the shed very MSE. It does make a difference..
Come on Federer - cant stand that whining scot..
Right - off to look up tagine recipes. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
It started to really hammer it down just as we got back here. The noise against the back door was awful. I reckon I'll need to get back on the roof and sort out the guttering again soon
My head still hurts but I had about an hour earlier when it didn't feel so bad so I got a loaf in the BM and managed to get all the ironing done and put away.
My sister gave me some clothes she was going to throw out. I've managed to get a lovely lined skirt for work (fits fab) and some Jane N0rman trousers (a bit long but not a problem now I've re-familiarised myself with the sewing machine). Also got some nice tops. There was a bag of other stuff that I decided wouldn't fit me and she couldn't be bothered to take it to the charity shop so I have listed a couple of bits on ebay
DD has gone out with my friend and her daughter for a couple of hours so I am sitting watching the TdF in peace with a hot water bottle on my head:TIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
I had a migraine on Thursday- i think it was all the mugginess, i woke up with it and was fairly awful. Had to rearrange my day, and could barely see to send messages to folk i needed to :-(
The tablets and the rest did me good though.
Hope you are feeling better now.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

I've had a migraine today too and so has a friend
- we reckon it's something to do with the bright summer light oddly trapped under clouds.
Hope you're feeling better and hurrah for free clothes.
