I've now been able to transfer money between accounts at NotBest so at least I know everything is covered in the household account now. I've also transferred money into the food, petrol and holiday accounts. Just need to keep a tight reign on the miniscule amount that's left in the current account now :rotfl:Theoretically should not need to spend anything till Wednesday when I'll buy cakes to take into work - I won't be as extravagant as in previous years.......

Yes that's exactly it. I'd known there'd been a problem since Wednesday but thought that it would have been sorted out by Friday when my salary was due to go in. Seems to be OK now. The good thing is even though credits weren't going in, debits weren't going out either. :D:D

I had a lovely day earlier, got some lovely presents and spent it with my lovely family. We had lots of laughs, lovely food and drink and a really good day all round.

I couldn't help feeling a bit sad though - is that what 40 does to you? I don't feel 40 and have been told I don't look it but does it suddenly start making you evaluate everything? I have a feeling the underlying reason is more down to the fact that I'm mucking about with someone I shouldn't be (for more reasons than one ) and I really need to sort my life out. The highs are amazing, the lows are rubbish...

Maybe I was just tired and emotional..

Spends yesterday was just £40.01 on petrol (already allocated from petrol account). Won't be spending any money today. Off for coffee this morning with a friend and out for a walk later with another friend - to blow away the cobwebs :) and get those happy endorphins working again :)

Cripes, I hope not... I've had those moments at 15, 21, 28 and 35 so far, a major 40 one would just be too much!

Have a lovely walk and maybe once the cobwebs are blown things will be clearer again :)

What more could you ask for?

What? Makes you have a good time with family?

Well being literal - you aren't until wednesday... ;)

Of course. But that is a good thing if done right.

Mucking about with them for more reasons than one?

Or more reasons than one that you shouldn't be?

And now, the $64,000 question: Why are you?

:T for the highs, :grouphug: for the lows.

    I hope it worked.
