Payday today and my account is with NotBest  nothing showing and it's possible that my company paid the salaries out of a NotBest account so a double whammy there. Not sure what to do.....I usually transfer a huge chunk to my household account and although my mortgage (by far my biggest DD) won't come out till about 16th I've still got loads of other DDs coming out early next week.
I think I will pop along to the local branch at lunchtime and see if I can sort something out.
Grrr....It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
NatWest have not been as helpful as I thought they'd be. If the salary isn't showing they can't transfer money over even if you show them your payslip. I've had to withdraw cash from one account and pay it into the other but it's not the whole amount i wanted to transfer but should cover the bills that come out next week. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0

My salary has now been credited but I can't transfer money between accounts yet. It's a start anyway.
Financial situation is tight but not dire. I got a text from CSA today so that money should go in next week all being well. I've taken all payments into account so far, have put £50 by for holiday spends and set up a (much reduced) payment of £52.23 (from roundings) to the CC - that takes the balance to just over £600. Really need to get a wiggle on and list my old iphone on fleabay if I am to make it through this month.
Food shop came to £23.49 tonight so within the £25 budget I'd set for myself.
We're at mum and dad's tomorrow for a family party for my 40th so looking forward to that. I'm watching the footie at the moment and going to dye my hair in a little while so i don't look 40 in the photos
All 3 perfumes that I regularly use are down to the dregs and will all run out at the same time so I've ordered some Hugo Boss Woman smellalike from Perfume Parlour for £3.75 to tide me over.
I hope I get some money for my birthday.....It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

I have a confession to make
I fell off my pole the other night and ended up in A & E:o:o
I'd done 2 perfect shoulder mounts, went to do a third and must have taken my hands away before I'd got my legs on the pole and went crashing to the floor. I seemed to drop for ages before I hit my head on the floor. I also whacked my leg on a chair back and cut that open but it was my head I was worried about. I was Ok to drive to the hospital (it didn't actually hurt that much) but you never know with head injuries.
The triage nurse was really scary and i was terrified telling her how I'd done it but the nurse that checked me over was lovely even when I said I was so embarrassed about it all
So I haven't been on the pole since. I will though. I just have a bit of bruised head still and a bashed up leg - the leg hurts more though....
That will teach me to get all confidentIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

You must have fallen a long way for that!
Most people only go a couple of feet.I'd done 2 perfect shoulder mounts, went to do a third and must have taken my hands away before I'd got my legs on the pole and went crashing to the floor.
I take it that the "levitation" pole-move is something you're not so good at?I seemed to drop for ages before I hit my head on the floor.
Time compression. It's nature's way of rubbing things in that you made a boo-boo. Try falling out of a tree some time. You can read a book on the way down...I also whacked my leg on a chair back and cut that open
Oh dear. Stiches? :grouphug:
Next time, clear the decks as best you can, so you have plenty of room to flail about without hitting anything.but it was my head I was worried about.
Your head is pretty tough - that should be the last thing you worry about. In those situations, it's the spine that's the worry.I was Ok to drive to the hospital (it didn't actually hurt that much) but you never know with head injuries.

No - not at all. You should be confident.

Oooow poor you Poles! :grouphug:
But you'll never ever fall off again now so you've got it all over with in one go?
And you have every right to be confident, after all you're Fabulous. Just be a little more careful with timing!
