Washing Line Man? *searches for 'hunh???' smiley*
I have no idea why men do that... the record for my exes was three and a half years, after we'd split up and he'd got together with my ex-friend who he denied shagging at the time. He contacted me a few weeks before the wedding and asked how I was and whether I'd like a visit. Funnily enough I said no. Didn't stop him texting me again shortly after the supposed wedding date. Did make me feel they both got what they deserved :rotfl:
Nice that he was thinking about your birthday though - shows he remembered for one thing. Question is... would you have liked to hear from him? Because the only sensible reason to do any of that is because he wanted to get in touch with you. (And I appreciate that relationships don't always work sensibly, from either gender.)
Hurrah for your work colleagues, booo to NotBest and total lack of interest in football I'm afraid - so will lend support to your sweepstake income

I messaged WLM back last night through fb thanking him for the birthday wishes. What I didn't realise was that it would trigger a friend request
I only realised this morning when he accepted it. He'd also sent a nice reply to my message
. This is only making me feel marginally better about everything else that's going on at the moment.
Off out for my girly nite tonight. I need to have a good drink but don't have the energy for a hangover tomorrow. Already feel pretty carp at the mo with a sore throat and a coldy headache
Tour de France starts tomorrow - can't wait - I love it!!
Right - off to get ready....It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Must have cross-posted Rosa!
I had a lovely night. We went to a gay bar but they had a pole so we were swinging round that too. I didn't too much seeing as I am quite capable of falling of when I'm sober. The friend situation wasn't too bad but could have been better. One of them is certainly suffering from depression - I reckon she's either paranoid schizophrenic or has bipolar or something (or are they the same thing?). She accused me and the other friend of ganging up on her (???) and then she got really drunk - you could tell she wasn't dealing with it very well. Apart from that the night passed without too much uncomfortableness if that's even a word.
Good thing was I went out with £30 and came home with £25 :T
I still feel carp though. No hangover as I stuck to vodka all night but I didn't sleep very well - stuff still churning round my head. My throat is swollen and I am very hot. But I have changed both beds and hoovered already and the first wash is on. Just had some cereal, toast and tea. I will pick dd up from my mums at about midday have some lunch then I am going to lay on the sofa for 3 hours and watch Le Tour!
No further messages from WLM...It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

This is what I thought. Hmmmm....:think:Hurrah for your work colleagues, booo to NotBest and total lack of interest in

More practice needed. Apparently there's a gay bar with one you can use...The friend situation wasn't too bad but could have been better. One of them is certainly suffering from depression - I reckon she's either paranoid schizophrenic or has bipolar or something (or are they the same thing?).
Manic-depressive is what bi-polar used to be. If she's paranoid schizophrenic, then you need to be keeping her away from sharp implements...She accused me and the other friend of ganging up on her (???) and then she got really drunk - you could tell she wasn't dealing with it very well. Apart from that the night passed without too much uncomfortableness if that's even a word.
It is now.Good thing was I went out with £30 and came home with £25 :T
And you thought that low-cut top was no good...I still feel carp though. No hangover as I stuck to vodka all night but I didn't sleep very well - stuff still churning round my head.
Oh dear... :grouphug:My throat is swollen and I am very hot.
Coming down with something, or hayfever? No further messages from WLM...

Picked dd up and got a few bits from the supermarket. Was very good and just spent from the cash in my purse and used nectar points. Total cash spend £4.14.
Spent most of the afternoon lying on the sofa watching the tour de france. Managed to get 3 washes done and dry and everything was ironed by 8pm :T
Had a message from WLM asking if I would like to pop round for a cuppa at some point if I wouldn't feel too awkward. I feel strangely positive about this but won't jump any guns yet (god that sounds rude)...i will reply at some point today with a time that suits.
Going to go for a bike ride later with dd. Need to pop into Ada's to get a cheap pair of trainers first though, mine stay ay work for lunchtime runs.
Will look in on my mum too. Dad has just text to say that she feels really rotten and is staying in bed today. She's had this rotten cold that's been going round and it always really affects her chest and leaves her with a shocking cough.
Great day for sport too. My TdF fantasy team did really well yesterday so looking forward to the highlights later then straight after it's the Euro 2012 final. Come on Italy!!!It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Bought new trainers in Ada's for £8:T Picked up some more shampoo and conditioner - total spend £11.07 and all from cash already in my purse so already taken into account.
We went for our bike ride but we were rained on 3 times. The weather was ridiculous - we swapped our kagoules for vest tops and suncream at one point :rotfl: Had a good ride out of it and probably did about 5 miles altogether. I'm expecting a sore backside for the next 4 days at least....
Popped in to see my mum. She's really rough. I think it's flu she's got.
I've also just replied to WLM with a time that I can pop round for a coffee - not for another 2 weeks (I'm out the night before so dd will hopefully be at my mums still) so I will go on my own - not fair to take her.
Watching the footie and Italy are letting me down....:(It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

Ha!
That's nothing...I'm expecting a sore backside for the next 4 days at least....
Is this the male company you're expecting? :rotfl:Popped in to see my mum. She's really rough. I think it's flu she's got.

I am feeling much chirpier this week - you can't keep me down for long
Personal life looking much brighter (or at least not as dull as last week).
Financial situation is now demanding some drastic measures so it's about time I listed my old iphone on fleabay. I also have a handbag i think will sell quite easily too. DD has a beautiful georgian style dolls house that with a little bit of DIY (from me) should also go quite well. She never plays with it now and we need the space in her room for a slimline chest of drawers.
£1.46 PAD today to barclaycard...i'm getting there
Spent all afternoon avoiding all tv and radio reports about the tour de france then managed to ruin it all by looking through facebook before I'd watched the highlights show  stupid  and found out who won just before I started to watch it....
Right - off to photograph my ebay stuff.....It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Still haven't listed the iPhone
but have at least taken all the photos (it is immaculate - much better than any I've seen listed) and have wiped all evidence of myself from it (I hope). Might do it today if I have some time at work.
Paltry 6p PAD to barclaycard from roundings...:rotfl:
My mum is starting to feel better thank goodness:)It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0
