Does anyone have any red tomatoes yet

I've been picking March sown Gardener's Delight from my greenhouse since early July and have had a few outdoor ones (Incas) turn red. Then again, a lot depends on where in the country you are and I'm in a fairly warm spot in the SE.
I certainly wouldn't start worrying yet about a lack of ripening and I wouldnt be sacrificing green ones this early, either.0 -
few red ones from my hanging baskets with tumbling toms also.
Think i need to help pollenate some.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Thanks folks, it sounds like mine are about normal. The trouble is, we will have to buy tomatoes from Asda when we do the weekly shop and I know they will be tastleless. Maybe we will give them a miss and sit and look at ours over the weekend, surely that will hurry things along0

Apparently if you leave one ripe tomato on the plant, it will hurry the others along. So my dad says anyway:D
If you can summon the discipline to do it that is!0 -

I've had a few now, off Gardeners Delight, Tigerella and the small bush Garden Pearl. But only a very few, one went on a pizza and the rest got eaten in the garden.
My garden Pearl are outside and I think it's worth growing a couple of them in flower bucket sized pots.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0
