It's a reasonable question. I know it's a netbook but that doesn't mean the drive is not removable. Flip the laptop upside down, unscrew the relevant panel and remove the drive?If my post helped you in anyway, please hit the "Thanks" button! You would be better off [ Advent Recovery Backup ] looking at techguys if you want to help without removing the HDD / or / as Donnie says give the O/P a walkthrough on HDD removal.

Please explain how I am supposed to connect a SATA drive to an IDE machine with no SATA ports, no caddy or anything else for that matter???:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
