Dont blame you for ranting. Do you use broadband for much more than surfing (ie downloads etc). If not, I used to have the Sky package that only cost £5 per month on top of the very basic sky viewing package. It worked out to be the cheapest option at the time.

  • Good Afternoon , and TGIF !

All your positive vibes worked, thank you, I now have £121 heading towards my bank account courtesy of my ferocious ebaying, plus the job that I didn't take want me to do another day for them next week so they owe me for last week too, that's at least £90 I've got coming at some point.

I am in the deepest depths of the overdraft, only £14.72 away from my limit, may have to use £10 of that for petrol on Monday.
We have food, a totally upside house, feels like it resembles something from The Young Ones.

All CC bills paid, phone bill is outstanding, but I do have an extension date on that. CT and WR will be three days late, but I can usually get away with that.

Can breathe, and psyche myself up for some major decluttering tomorrow.

Snowball says I owe £26,260.53, that's £100 more than it was in September. But budget sheet says this time next year I will be more than £800 in credit, I know thats just a rough guide but it is a target.

So tonight I deserve a lager some trash telly and the sofa, one son out with GF other at friends house til tomorrow evening (apparently you can't call it a sleepover when you are 14 and male !) House to myself :)

Well done on the ebaying totals etc -that is pretty good! And still money to come to you as well from other sources - result!!

Enjoy your day - being able to start it off with "ooh, more sleep, yes please!" is always good :D

HA - caught you - 9.18 and your lights still on :rotfl:

Fantastic work on the ebay. Wish I could be that succesful. Also great that you can do odd days for the other company. Keeps options open for longer term I guess.
:D at non sleepover for son. I remember being like that. Now I just sound like my Mother

Dont give it too much wellie, have some me time as well.

All I'm going to say is the best laid plans and all that...comes with teenage territory...sigh.
    Tomorrow is another day.

  • Well to cut a long story short ended up driving most of yesterday afternoon/evening due to stranded friends broken clutch cable, two teenagers and their BMX's.

So what little progress I made will be built on today, sorted through several boxes, found DH's old camera, which hasn't seen the light for 3 years. It is one of those things I'm umming and ahhing about. Is a really good make well looked after, with accessories and manual, possibly £70 ? Maybe more. Think it's time to let it go to someone who will love it again.

Now this is completely banal but I changed all bedding yesterday, not an amazing feat I know but these fresh sheets have an extremely over powering fabric softener aroma, incredibly sweet smell, think it was the green lenor fusions, it's so strong even the dog has been infused with the aroma. Is almost sickly. Didn't sleep well at all, should try the lavender one I guess.

So Mother's day ? Well I have flowers, chocolates and a CD already and they are both still in their man pits. Both have plans so I'm hoping for a pottering but productive day.(Hopefully in complete denial about the lawn ...) Finishing around 7pm with Roast Chicken. Sounds good:)
