Hey DC well done on the budget. I really need to take a leaf out of your book. I too am in the poo for the next couple of months. I wonder if there is any kind of plan we could work on together to egg each other along.

I have 5 things on ebay now thanks to your inspiration. Just sold a bookcase. There was a bidding war in the last five minutes! Very exciting. Still only got £27 but hey its £27 more than I had.
If you have any ideas that we can challenge ourselves on give me a shout.

Thanks to you I have finally put my stuff on ebay and 5 things (yes 5) sold while I was still listing!!! Only £12 in total (all DD's old clothes) but not bad considering I was going to chuck it all.....

  • I'm learning.

Bank have been trying to contact me. I suspect because I'm living in the deep end of the overdraft. So I rang them, of course they want to sell me a loan to clear it. Well I've been there done that and it failed, no more. I will dig myself out.

More stuff to be ebayed today, six to parcel up and post. And must find some more streams of income from somewhere...

  • Am very glad to see the end of March. Means I'm a little closer to being out of the poo. Still going to be difficult, particularly the next 7 days, but I'll get there.
Have a serious ebay session planned for Saturday.

7 days, you can get there. One day at a time. Payday for me so I will be working out a very tight budget later. Bliss! Agree with Poles, keep checking the diary and we can all pull each other through You have already inspired me to get back on ebay.

  • Bloomin' BT. Examining phone bill and I'm paying some stupid £40.80 a quarter for a calling plan - what ? I don't need this plan thing cios I have a hub phone.
But can you cancel it ? Nope been through every option possible on the number and it's all about ordering this and that.

Am cross, have emailed them, vented actually. Gimmee my money back !

  • See off I went into thed eep end, of course I now realise you can't have BT Broadband without a calling plan. So therefore I should be researching cheaper broadband options. But I've been here before I don't want to change suppliers because BT is so reliable, therefore I'm paying through the nose. Why can't they just offer Broadband at a reasonable cost without any add ons and excessive charges.

    (Yep still ranting...)
