10 hour shift = Aching feet, mentally and physically tired, but am happy that I've made the right decision. Good day at work. Sometimes things are what you make them.DC.

Time for some Sunday morning MSE inspiration
Since last Sundays returne to the MSE fold I have :
started my loan piggy pot so that the last payment of loan will be paid in January with no effort.
listed 32 items on ebay and 26 have bids.
turned done one job, and decided to stay at present one for the short term, I will continue my search.
Cheri asked a couple of posts what do I like to do in my spare time. This got me thinking, I haven't had any quality time off since Christmas. Yes Sundays - but they seem to be spent charging around the house, preparing for the manic week ahead.
This really won't do. Having juggled two jobs for 4 months from this week onwards I get 2 days off during the week I haven't seen some of my friends for ages, yes snapshots of conversations on FB, quick chat in town or on the phone but nothing relaxing, so it's time to organise this life.
Today I have a 100 things to do in true disorganised style, but I shall get it together. Not sure how yet....DC.

Good morning!
I think that the hardest part is actually identifying what you are lacking, and what you really want.....once you have done that, you can start to see how you can reorganise things to fit everything in a whole lot better, but so often we are very vague about what it is we want and just say things like "I want to see my friends" or "I want to be happy".
By saying "I want to sit down with a coffee and have a good old catch up with XXXXX" you can then do something about it, if that makes sense,
Have a good Sunday, and happy continued contemplating, and life changingSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Yes it does make sense Hypno, have some lovely friends, who deserve more from me.
As for the life contemplating, I have to remember I can't do it all at once, so just one little thing at a time. Job worth doing and all that..
Back on the PAD thread, again I know it works, so I have to do it.
Surveys are piling up again.
Now, in present job I actually get paid weekly - real money, little brown pay packet ! Not the little figures that you see in online banking, cold hard cash. After years of bank transfers and waiting for wages to go in there is something truly satisfying about seeing your money. So my mission is to actually not have to pay this cash into my current account to cover the DD's etc
I do have other personal incomes that get paid straight into my account and *should* cover everything if I can get off this bottom rung of living in my OD, having to rush into the branch and make a deposit to cover a looming DD.
Plus whenever I have an 'account review' I hate that they know exactly what my lifestyle is, where I shop etc. So all this ebaying, surveying and stuff has got to start to paying it all off from here on in.
Thats the the plan.DC.

Got to have a visible goal, so yes I should be ironing/cutting grass/washing car/and dare I say doing something about the bathroom.
BUT all those things are going to be there tomorrow so I have sat down with excel, all bills, bank accounts and budget forecasts am inputting it all so I can see how much better I'll be off this time next year.
If I can see it I'll do it !DC.

Hey DC. You have done so much in a week. 30+ items and 26 bids (mind you I would hate the wrapping and posting on all of that!) and more importantly made a decision with what you want to do. I think you have chosen the right thing for now. If you get two days in the week just look on them as Saturday and Sunday. I agree with Hypno. You need to be clear about what you do want otherwise you drift thinking I must do something. I spent two years living here and kept saying that I wanted to meet new friends but didnt achieve it because I worked from home but didn't make an effort to join clubs or classes. Once I decided that I wanted to do something ie. Tai Chi then I met new people. I now blank out my diary for work to make sure that nobody puts in an evening presentation on that day because I realised that I was always putting work first.
Good plan to do the budgets, far more worthwhile than cutting grass. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
I always feel better when I've done the budgets. At least I can see clearly what i haven't got rather than just have a hazy idea. That way I can make adjustments in other areas and stay on top of things.
Your ebaying is putting me to shame. I have loads of stuff I need to list but haven't got the enthusiasm to do it at the moment. Maybe I'll just take all the pictures tonight then take it from there. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Done Budgets up to and including April next year, took me all afternoon, still some tweaking to do, but my word if I play it right, this time next year Rodney...DC.

Two days off, well a day and a half now, been tweaking budgets all afternoon, am seriously in the poo over the next two months, would appreciate Mr Taxman giving me my £200 (possibly more ?) back, but I'm sure he's using it to pay off the deficit at the moment.
Had to put a portion of the utilities bill on a CC, just £70 but I just can't get my hands on the funds yet.
Feel more ebaying coming on tomorrow, if I could just make an extra £150 in the next month I'd be fine.DC.
