  • Course you can. But can you hide the chocolate, I'm trying to be good. Plus if you are hopefully going to get out of the ghetto you best start shifting it all now.

It's because our dear children know which buttons to press ... My son drives his dad insane ... He still has to find mine though .... And I ain't giving him no clues lol
  • Right time to get a wriggle on !
Been sitting here for at least an hour catching up with diaries.

I have promised Scrooge on the complete this challenge thread I will declutter my front room this morning, this is no mean feat as it is the total hub of the family.

I have another Move It issue to address aswell. In my utility room is an old fridge it works, but has not been used for a year. It has been on Freecycle three times and three times it has been 'taken' with no-one turning up. A friend of a friend said they really need it so I cleaned it up last weekend and again no show or contact. Therefore

I have to make plans to get rid, looks like I'll have to pay for the privelege too. Once that is gone I can really start making room in that total dumping ground, recycling, shoe rack, garden tools, defunct things..and spiders...ugh....

Still, moaning about a fridge won't get this room sorted will it ?

  • DC local councils will sometimes remove fridges for free, check the website maybe?

Goodluck with the living room today

  • Thanks KM, thats a good starting point thanks.

Just got my £2 credit report from Experian, still no sign of old default. Things aren't actually as bad as I thought. But still some accounts missing as they were in Equifax one.

I'll join you all in the decluttering if I may? Thing is I really like chucking stuff out....it's very cathartic.

What you all need is a friend who is a bigger hoarder/messer than you are. I have a friend who to say is an ideal candidate for 'How Clean Is Your House?' would be an understatement. There is mess everywhere and even in the bathroom you have to pick your way to the loo! Every time I come away from there and open my own front door I feel better no matter what state my house is in :T
It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :j

  • Hi Polesalot, jump right in ! You may well need to get on my case though as I'm easily distracted. I think I am a friend like that, my SIL once said to me that she 'loves the way I can let my house just be...' hmmm it was 10 years go and I did have two under 6's, but still not sure what she meant.

Buffy, that's fine I have done FB/shower/dog distractions so you are on same path as me :)
In the last hour completed some serious filing/shredding (of the paper kind) and desk looks tidy-ish. But want - no actually need - new desk with draws instead of this 1998 affair that came free with first computer ! Have also just purchased new filters for Dyson, and it works, is amazing ! However that means I'll have to use it now....
