Well DS2 was messing about with camera yesterday and we were looking at the results. There was some strange tired looking woman in my house, wearing my clothes and sitting on my sofa with DS1 !

Now, this really is not good enough, I'll admit it was late afternoon, after work, and the flash doesn't do any favours, but this woman has to go !

I've no idea exactly how to shake her off, maybe she could lose half a stone, ease off the chocolate, caffeine and nicotene and get some early nights to start with. I don't think it will be easy, and a slow transformation. She certainly a nomination for the 'i'm not worth it' title being discussed on Hypno's thread over the weekend.

This is one for 1001 list.

hi DC - the list thing looks interesting - not ready to do it yet myself - I think it would require some thought. I wouldn't want to turn mine into something I beat myself up over not achieving so need to think carefully abut what to include. I would like mine to include things like give a spontaneous hug or practice a random act of kindness every day for a week or something like that - spend a day finding things to laugh about etc....

DC - have you ever come across a little book called "when I loved myself enough" - amazon sell it - it was written originally by a lady who later died of cancer and was published by her daughter but it has things in it like laugh more, have another go on a swing, go on a picnic etc but much more poetically than that. I think I may buy myself another copy as mine has gone walk about.... but I found it really good for little ideas on how to make life more fun. Cheryl Richardson also wrote a book called 52 life makeovers which is good for ideas on how to make your quality of life better and more fun too.

I want to know how my mother keeps appearing in my house. Every time I come down the stairs and walk down the hall, my mother is there wearing my clothes looking at me!

Still have Waterstones voucher burning a hole in my pocket, I may step back from things and re-evalue what I really want.

Here you go Souk, thread is still in infancy so is not too much to read through as yet.

My daughter bought me a book for Mother's day this year........."help, I'm turning into my mother".

Not sure if it was because I was turning into my mother, or that DD was terrified she might be turning into hers :o
