Cupboards under the stairs - for years I hankered after a house that had a large hall with stairs in it. (sad I know) and when I finally got it (sadly I have it no longer) I loved my understairs cupboard. Now I know this sounds like a Monica but I put up shelves and stuff and it was the one place that was kept tidy with all of my cleaning things/hoover/iron/ironing Reason it was so tidy? I never cleaned up or ironed :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: See you cant call me Anthea Turner NahnahSome days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. I want an under the stairs Monica cupboard ! I can't even get the dyson in there too much tat ! Which is probably why the utilty room is full of the wrong things...
If there is space in my house stuff collects there, I yearn to be minimalistic, or do i ?DC.

Just been through Amazon listings, some stuff has been on there for nearly 2 years and because I haven't kept my eye on it, the low price on most has hit a penny. Well I had some huge heavy books (DH's cricket stuff, massive bibles of Freddie Flintoff, Dickie Bird and the like) on there that would cost £4 or £5 to post. I'm not playing that game.
Excuse me while I type out loud here, I'm toying with the idea of car booting, I've been to buy but never as a seller. Maybe then I could get rid of those footie boots too. But is anyone really going to want any of these cricket books, I know DH did but that was one of his little foibles. Then I have to contend with the 'but they are Dad's !' from the boys. I know they are but are they going to read them ? No Because they hate cricket !
I guess I'm just tired of all the ebaying this weekend.
Thanks for listening, felt like a mini rant !DC.

hi DC I took books to a car boot sale and didn't sell any! I was gutted. I did get a second hand book shop to buy about £100 worth of books about 5 years ago but when we offered him some during the recession he said no he was absolutely inundated....
