  • Now positive thoughts all day because remember I'm going to win the lottery tonight.
Had a wonderful nights sleep. To come downstairs to an uncluttered front room is bliss.

Postie just delivered a rejection from Tesco Credit Card, but that's OK, think I was pushing it. Judging by my credit reports I think I have about 2 old accounts to drop off before the end of this year. If I get my act together this time in 2011 I can hopefully apply for another 0%.

Have to say that meal planning and shopping has really taken the pressure off. Knowing I don't have to fight the crowds of holidaymakers in town today for a couple of silly bits which will turn into £20 worth of impulse buys is a great relief.

Plans for today involve ebaying, much decluttering and facing my fear of spiders in utility room. They've had plenty of warning, I've been thumping and bashing about in there for days.

Now tell me does anyone thing it's worth listing 40 year old horse brasses on ebay ? Or is it the charity shop ?

  • Well I googled them, it seems there are antique places that sell them http://www.ukbrasses.com/hbrass1.htm ..........who knew? That might give you some idea of the value?

or you could do a job lot on e bay and e mail a few of the websites to seeif they want them- just stick a link in the e mail to drumup business?

    Morning btw xx

When you win the lottery don't forget your DFW friends ;).

You are sounding very calm, wise and focussed, Zen like :). It is just the talk of Daniel Craig/Robbie Williams and drooling over my PT Mike that gives you away :rotfl:.
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.
  • Right had a good look around, most are going on ebay in lots, but I have a couple that will probably go for a little more.

Found two odd socks in ebay box, says it all really !

I think hoovered curtains really need washing, but think dear DH made it very technical to take them down, you know when you just have that inkling that there was a dilemma when putting them up. See they are on a mid stair landing and window sill is shoulder height.

    Stay tuned.

You do know that that's what they invented Ferbreeze for don't you???

Morning DC  good luck with lotto/ebay etc etc xx
