that is why the furnishing regulations came in re fire retardant fabrics.....
It's also why I always look carefully at windows when I go and see a houseI need to know I can fit my fat self out of at least one upstairs window, preferably about 3 of them :rotfl:
Haven't they changed some rules re that? I haven't seen any new double glazing going up round here with the tiny top windows opening only anymore, it always seems to have a big opening.Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

I can well understand you not wanting the T to smoke, just be glad that is all he does, my T have so far, re done the whole garden back and front without asking my permission, withheld a months rent as there was a leak and the insurance company did not move fast enough for T although I was on to them everyday and T have sent me the most abusive emails even though I reduced the rent by 100 pounds a month to help them! now they say they want to use the deposit as the last months rent and on top of that they want a reference!!!.............. I think you could put the rent up in a few months time to be able to redecorate, that way he pays for the damage to paintwork etc from smoking......I just wish that was all I had a problem with.....0
