    Just an update.

I had saved £650 for Xmas spending which is now down to £200. But at least unlike Christmases before I am not just blindly spending on the credit cards and not opening letters in January. That is a great feeling.

Still Im worried about getting to the end of this month and money seems to be pouring through our hands. I havent done any extra nursing shifts last month as i have just been too tired but that is always a relief when that money goes into the account on the 20th.

In January I am going to get some more money paid off the credit card. Cant wait till that debt disappears.

Im still filling out my spending diary every day religiously and doing my spreadsheets.

So - Hope everyone has a great Christmas. Dont go mad everyone it is only one day isnt it. x

    Another update -

Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to everyone. xxxxxxx

Well Ive just had a week of completely trying to clamp down on buying food and using up everything in the cupboards. It is payday today so I was making it last. We are doing Xmas food shop today.

Im quite proud of the fact that I spent nothing on the visa over this Xmas. That is the first time in a long time.

Hopefully visa will start reducing again from January. I had a glitch due to paing for holidays I had booked for the year.

Ive not done any extra work for couple of months now. I feel alot less tired but I have £67 to find for my annual nursing registration fee but the thing is I am not nursing at the moment! A waste but if I get chance to work again I cant without paying that fee. Car tax is due aswell - bummer.

Anyway worry about all that after Xmas.

    Happy New Year xxx

Well just listed a load of stuff on ebay and Amazon that we have had laying round the house for ages.

Can wait to see what happens:D Hope it sells.

Need to get money to sort DDs bedroom out - getting walls plastered, recarpet and curtains. Its long overdue.

Little DD unwell so gone to bed bless her.:(

    Have a great day everyone.

Thanks jwil. Hope you had a great Xmas and New Year.

My ebaying is going ok so far. Taken alot off Amazon as they have put blocks on selling toys - until second week in Jan!! Trnsferred stuff to ebay and already got bids with 8 days to go - Yay!

Got my statement from Santander cc yesterday. They have reduced my minimum payment. It makes me annoyed. They just try to keep people in debt. Its because Im paying it off.

Im up in the night as little DD unwell. I got paranoid it was flu. (and Im a nurse!!)

Anyway going back to bed now. Night All xxx
