Well definately spent more than planned this week. It's little DD's fifth birthday and I couldnt help it!! Need to get back on track this week but so far spent £30 on a plumber so it's not looking like a great start.
Turned down extra shift this week aswell as DD's birthday party tomorrow so dont want to be tired etc and also trying to cope with my one job rather than the two jobs.
Little DD starts school tomorrow so going to get her sorted now.

Morning All,
Birthday party went really well yesterday. DD has had such a great week. My spending diary has helped take the strain out of constantly feeling we just can buy anything or enjoy ourselves in any way. At least now its not a game of chance and Im aware what I can buy.
Turned down a shift aswell. I really wanted to enjoy the weekend and I didnt feel horrifically guilty about turning it down.
Checked on line banking. Think Im becoming obsessional. I always have to check how this months balance compares to last months at this time or how it compares to this time last year.
Anyway just chilling today. Back to work tomorrow. Only got £25 to spend for 5 days so got to really be frugal.
Anyway, thanks for reading.Egg April 10 £6600 Jan £4678 now £0

Glad your DD had a nice birthday, and you were right to turn down that extra shift. Spending the weekend with your family would have been much more valuable than a few extra pounds.
I'm always counting down the days til payday so I can pay a bit more off the debt, it is very addictive seeing the numbers going down, however slowly that may be in my case!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Just an update... hello All,
Yay - just got a letter saying Barclaycard will give me a 0% transfer thingy so can transfer my Virgin cc debt onto that and instead of paying £30 month interest it can go towards paying that card off. Yay.. I didnt even apply either.:T
Thats my update...

Morning All,
Well couldnt get through to Barclaycard on telephone. So going to wait until I get sent new card and go on line instead. I can then transfer my Virgin cc balance to that card and save 15.9% interest a month.
Got paid yesterday so set ourselves a new weekly spend budget as its been very tight and want to cut ourselves a little slack so we can actually live. (I dont mean meals out, new clothes etc just be able to afford basics).
Well Bye for now.Egg April 10 £6600 Jan £4678 now £0

Well I got my Barclaycard through and transferred £1400 off my Virgin cc. My Virgin card is 15.9%. Ideally I would have transferred whole amount but I couldnt extend my credit limit.
I might redo snowball calc when I get chance.
Work is a mare at the moment so no time to spend on all this really. Just going to do maximum of one shift a month in my other job but will give me extra £100 a month.
Anyway must go as got lesson planning to do.

OMG! Dont normally stress out loads about work but I am at the moment.
Im really worried that my money saving is going to go out of the window as I strive to comfort eat and buy.
I do need to go out at weekend and see some friends for my own sanity really.
Checked on line banking. Its looking the best it has for a long time. Thank fully.
Didnt sleep well last night but not due to money worries as it normally is. is that better or worse I dont know?
Anyway hope everyone doing well with their debt free plans.Egg April 10 £6600 Jan £4678 now £0
